The handle and back half of the sled are separate pieces from the front, load-bearing part. When you apply pressure to the handle, the sled actually bends in the center at the connecting seam. The two parts are connected by a single, small diameter screw on each side that are no where near strong enough to ensure the integrity of the sliding rails. Hopefully the pics demonstrate this. I loved the compact size, but this piece of equipment was not going to last very long with any normal/regular use.
