Great light, except one thing, the Metal clip shorts the battery
I loved, great light, minimal, lot's of options. Very bright, different levels, strobe, red light and red strobe. However, the metal clip when fixed, causes a short which kills the battery. And this types of batteries when empty, die.

Say maybe to Nitecore, yes to Fenix
Item worked for less than 24 hours, then failed completely. Would not turn on. Would not display flashing LED when replacing end cap (a non-cancellable feature which confirms battery power), despite trying two other batteries to eliminate battery failure as a possible cause. Left Amazon feedback for seller and waited 48 hours to hear back - no response. I was willing to try a replacement, but since the seller showed no interest in communication I'm returning the item for a refund. My other tactical flashlights are made by Fenix. I have never had any failures with Fenix equipment and highly recommend them. Working in law enforcement I can attest that a flashlight that goes 'click' with no light can be as devastating as a gun that goes 'click' with no bang.UPDATE: After perusing other negative reviews, I saw a seller response suggesting removal of the pocket clip, and ensuring the pocket clip is in the correct spot on the barrel. There is only one possible place to attach the clip, but I decided to remove it anyway. Sure enough, the end cap was able to make almost another complete revolution in tightening. It now works! I'd give it 5 starts except for the apparent poor pocket clip design.

BEST FLASHLIGHT EVER!!!
Nitecore EC11 - I'm an architect and have been looking for a really good LED jobsite flashlight that was compact. There's a lot of them that claim 500-600 lumens with zoom for about $20, and about 4"-5" long. Then there are some that are really pricey with similar features, ranging up to $200. Finally came across the Nitecore line of flashlights and the EC11 caught my attention because it boasts 900 lumen, but packed in a body that's less than 3". Received it in 2 days and came with the flashlight, 2 batteries, USB charger with digital power display, clip, holster, wrist lanyard, and a free keychain flashlight...all for $69! So I just tried it out with the battery not even fully charged, and DAMN, WOW! This is the brightest handheld flashlight I've ever seen, and its super compact size is awesome!!! There are 5 brightness levels, strobe, SOS, and flashing red (I think the red light doubles as a battery level indicator). Great build and feel. The only thing it doesn't do is zoom, but I'm so impressed with everything else, I don't really care it doesn't zoom. Anyways, I've bought many things on Amazon and never wrote a review, but this little puppy defintely deserved one. Glad I paid a little more for a better quality product...I just hope it lasts. Awesome job and design Nitecore!!! I would give this 6 stars if I could.

Best light ever and less money than a lot of lower quality lights.
This light comes with a holster! It is a good fitting holster for my Nitecore EC11 flash light. It looks to be very high quality and has a great belt hole CUT-AWAY sizing design so you can cut only what you need to allow your belt to go through the belt hole and still not flop around.I never found the owners manual. This is a very complicated flash light to use. I HAVE figured out how to lock it in the off position to keep it from turning on in the holster. Why did I give it 5 stars? WORTH IT ! Once I figure out how to use all the things this light is capable of doing, it is going to be the best light I have ever owned. I have had lots of lights over the 10 years I have been carrying one every day in my job as a service plumber. 900 lumins come in handy under a pier and beam house so you can see all the way across the house instead of spending an hour digging under every cross beam to get under it to check for leaks on a sewer line 70 feet away.

Great light I have 2
Great light I have 2. These batteries are great. This charger is a piece of junk though, this charger will say batteries are not charging EE or will not charge them if their too low. I thought I had 3 useless batteries but it turned out it was the charger. This charger model is total garbage and nightcore still sells it for unknown reason. They have an i4 charger that can reset a battery if it is discharged completely, wich happens easily with this light. The light is really bright it will blind anyone if it's on high. The battery life is very low though you maybe get 15 minutes at full brightness, this is more powerful than many spotlights I've seen but this fits in your pocket.

my favorite edc light
Defective out of box. Would not turn on with any type of battery. Returned same day for replacement. The charger was pretty neat, it had a display of what percent charged. Will review when I receive my new one.Update: Received replacement. I love this light. My favorite features. 1. Remembers last setting. 2. Can over ride last setting and go straight to red, turbo or dimmest setting. Carries comfortable in front pocket.Update 2: I have had this light for a month now. I've used it every night around the yard and inside. The original battery is STILL 3.7 volts. I had to clean the + contact and clean the grease from the threads, been working great since then. That was probably the problem with my first light. It's on my night table at night, the red and dim are good for bathroom visits without disturbing my wife. This thing is as bright as my Fenix PD35 (960) and half the size. I only use the clip to help find the buttons, I put the clip on the opposite side of the buttons. On my PD35 I align the clip with the buttons. Feel the clip - find the buttons.
