It's an easy and affordable kitchen upgrade - My budget apartment has the absolutely ugliest beige kitchen. Everything is beige. It's depressing! I finally decided to do something about it, and used these to make a kitchen backsplash. It really helps distract from the overwhelming beige. It is easy to install, but I highly recommend having a ruler, box cutter and craft cutting board for precise cuts. It comes in super handy. Working right to left is key! Makes layering them very easy. They look really good in person, and the adhesive is pretty solid. The sizing listed is accurate. They're functionally rental friendly. I had to peel a couple off in the process and they didn't damage the paint underneath. I love it, it was totally worth the money to make my kitchen feel homier. In my case, I was looking for a raised, textured look and feel. I like the vinyl better for my backslash. Reckon, it's a personal preference for each person. **Q: Could this be used in a shower if instead of the pre-made stick you use a proper caulking to secure these?** A: sorry. No. can not be used in a shower, using behind tubes is OK. **Q: Can I use this in A bay window?** A: If you are going around the window on drywall or wood then yes. If you are covering anything that gets moisture or cool or hot then no. It isn't going to last long with extreme temperature ch **Q: I want to use this over my counter tops in the kitchen... they are flexible to cover areas with curves?** A: Yes ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Don't wait! It's an easy and affordable kitchen upgrade *by M***Z on September 29, 2025* My budget apartment has the absolutely ugliest beige kitchen. Everything is beige. It's depressing! They are made of quality material. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great for temporary fix! *by M***Y on February 2, 2026* 4 stars only because I have no idea about longevity. When I first received it, I put it on the shelf because I thought it looked cheap. I mean, you get what you pay for. But, our landlord has given us free reign and because we aren't buying this house and leaving in a few months, this actually looks REALLY good as a kitchen backsplash! It's added A LOT to the kitchen and I'm actually a little mad I didn't put it up sooner. Application isn't terrible but definitely had a learning curve for me because I've never done any kind of remodel or construction. Definitely going to be ordering a border and have already order two more boxes in 'dark brown' (which actually has way more beautiful green colors) to complete my kitchen. Definitely recommend for short term fix if you are on a budget. If I owned my own home, I probably wouldn't buy this. But like I said, great buy for short term, temporary fix. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.com.om/products/85561487-longking-peel-and-stick-backsplash-tile-for-kitchen-gray-stick](https://www.desertcart.com.om/products/85561487-longking-peel-and-stick-backsplash-tile-for-kitchen-gray-stick) --- *Product available on Desertcart Oman* *Store origin: OM* *Last updated: 2026-11-01*
