They wash easily with no piling. And they are stain resistant despite the white. I recently got tattooed and got ink ALL OVER this sheet. It washed out like new. It came and I washed it right away and put it on that night. It fit like a glove and had deep pockets! However....I woke up in the morning to find a small tear on the sheet near the edge of the bed. I don't even sleep on that side, I have no pets that sleep in the bed. I said oh well and figured I may have caught it on something in the dryer and didn't notice. That night went to sleep, woke up to find rips in the sheets. I assure you, I am not Freddy or Edward scissor hands! I do not sleep with knives, nor do I have leather spiked pajamas. I sleep in only underwear for SS. How in the world did it shred?
