Great stone for kitchen knives and most folding knives. But cbn and diamond stones, are the best stones you can use. If you want your knives to have true bite when you cut something, switch to diamond and carbon boron nitrite stones. Bonded stones are the very best. But if like whetstones this is a nice stone
