PureBites Ocean Whitefish Freeze-Dried Treats for Dogs (PB000338)

These PureBites treats are probably the best thing you can buy for your dog in terms of treats. My dog absolutely LOVES every PureBites product I have bought for him (we have now tried them all!). He has been enrolled in obedience training since he was 9 weeks old and I have been using these treats since he was about 4 months old; we are never going back to generic dog treats! Here are my top pros for this product:1. One Ingredient! You literally cannot do better than this, especially if your dog has any kind of food intolerance or allergies.2. The Ocean Whitefish are quite smelly, but I would consider this a plus since my dog is more enticed with smelly treats.3. They are excellent for obedience and agility training because they are easy to handle, being freeze-dried, and are also low in calories. Treat away!4. They have never caused my dog stomach upset or diarrhea, while other more generic treats have.5. They are sourced in the USA6. High protein content, low to zero carbs and no added sugarOverall, this brand is my absolute favorite to feed my dog. He is now getting into advanced obedience training and good treats are an absolute necessity for positive reinforcement. I would recommend these to anyone who loves their dog.

My beagle LOVES these! The fish is super smelly and smelled my whole house but definitely a good motivator fir the pups.

My wife and I recently decided to get rid of Chinese made food products for our pets. This was not as simple as we thought, but we found a great solution for everyday treats with these PureBites. One of our cats who rarely comes down stairs comes running as soon as I open the package (the smell is fairly strong but that seems to be a plus with the animals). Our dogs love em too. They are also low calorie, so even if you give several of them a day it wont effect their main diet.For anyone interested we switched to Orijen Grain-Free Adult Dry Dog Food, 29.7lb for the dogs and Orijen Regional Poultry and Fish Grain-Free Dry Cat & Kitten Food, 15lb for the cats. Going to USA/Canadian based products is more expensive, but worth it to us.

All I can say is that my 6 year old Chihuahua finally sat and lay done for this stinky little treat. Not bad, stinky. Smelly as in REAL FISH!! The only problem is that it turns into dust so easily. I save the dust at the bottom of the container and add a little each day to their food. No waste and they get yummy food and Omegas at the same time. I bought the largest amount of Pure Bites Whitefish and only use it sparingly!

For the price I paid for these treats, it was an exceptional value. These literally are pure whitefish, just reduced to waterless cubes. Our dogs love them, but they of course smell horrible.When ordering, keep in mind the cost of fish in general and figure out a cost per ounce that you're happy with paying -- the MSRP this shows is ridiculous.But just basing my review on the quality and how accurate the description was, it's great. Only negative is that there ends up being a LOT of dust and broken pieces in the bag -- I'd say less than a quarter of each bag is actually the full-size cubes they were intended to be.

This used to be my go to brand for freeze dried whitefish treats for my cat. The quality has really went down over the last couple of years and now most of the chunks have skin on them which the cat doesn't like or the chunks are really hard. I've switched to another brand but Amazon was out and tried to go back to this and the cat won't even eat it.

I had originally used the freeze dried beef liver, which my dogs loved. I thought they would like the freeze dried fish… I guess they did, but this stuff flakes apart and falls apart easily. And it really really really smells strongly of fish!I can keep the freeze dried beef liver in a Tupperware in my car forever, never smells never goes bad. I didn’t like to open this fish stuff in the house, it immediately stinks up the room.

My dogs and cats love these treats. In fact, they are the only treats my cats will eat. I just break them up a bit for the cats if the pieces are too big. I love the fact they don't have any extra ingredients and both my dogs and cats can eat them.
