I have a de'longhi bean to cup coffee machine which was showing the red light. The genuine de'longhi 2 pack seemed to be a good price so I used the one de'longhi reccomend (their own brand funnily enough!). It worked fine, once I found how to run it through it cleaned itself in about 20 minutes. My red light has now come on again so I'll use the other one. Leaves no smell or taste that I noticed although I made sure plenty of water was pumped through after the cleaning process was complete.

Very useful for cleaning and descaling ability of coffee machine delonghi has a funny smell to it however it’s not unbearable also removes scale very well however it’s not too cheap but definitely does the job properly and you don’t have to use it often unless you constantly use the coffee machine all day long

It's difficult to review such a 'boring' but necessary product.My coffee machine was an investment so the least I can do to look after the beautiful 5am servant is to maintain it.Pricey so if you get offers at purchase of machine, do it. It's required too quickly TBH.But does what it says (I guess although there's no real way to know!) so no problems here.Happy to accept all gifts of coffee beans and more to test it out some more lol!!
