FROGG TOGGS Men's Ultra-Lite2 2-Layer Waterproof Breathable Rain Suit

Do not pay any attention to the bad reviews of this product. True, it is not a heavy duty suit to be used on a regular basis. It is made of the same material that I have used over the years. If you are not familiar with this type of material you would think it was poorly made. It is very light weight and stands up to a driving rain. If you tested it or any type of Gore-Tex material in a shower it might not repeal the spray due to the pressure of stream pushing through the material. Again it works great and will be in pack when the conditions demand it.

For the low cost, this suit is incredible and surprisingly durable. Ive used it 15 times and its still holding up fantastic. Its light and thin so I can carry it always in my backpack while at work in the field. The elastic cuffs are great for making a water tight/air tight seal. The zipper is fantastic and the large fit me just perfect, 175 lbs, 5' 10". If you want fantastic value for small money, this is it. The legs are large enough I can slip my feet through even with my giant work boots on. The elastic in the waist band if perfect and snug but stretches a lot for putting it on, but its never too tight. When the rain shows up unexpectedly, I can have this suit pulled out of my backpack and on in 90 seconds. The hood is great for keeping the rain from running down the back of your neck, and the hood allows me to wear a hard hat on top of it. I have already gotten my moneys worth out of this suit and will buy it again when I finally get around to ripping it, snagging it on something sharp. I haven't done it yet, but I believe a sharp object will rip it easily as its so thin, so I treat it with care when wearing it, and it performs flawless for me.

The material for this rainsuit is lighter and more breathable than most expensive/ high-end rain jackets available on the market. The cut and style, however, is less than desireable. The fit is oversized and a bit odd because the sleeves are too short and leaves the wrist completely exposed to the elements. The material is very delicate so the pants are pretty useless as they rip easily. The jacket lasts much longer as long as you dont snag it on a lot of off-trail vegetation. Even if they do their it can easily be repaired with a small patch of duct tape. The jacket is so good and so cheap that I have a hard time justifying the expense of an expensive "high performance" jacket other than for pure style. Just throw away the pants and keep the jacket.

The pant ripped across the middle seam, the first time I climbed on to my bike. Since I needed a cover, I could not afford to wait for a replacement, and applied duct tape along the inner crotch seam. That way I got some days out of the pant. The jacket is a bit short in length, and keeps riding up at the back, exposing the lower back to splatter and rain. If only it had a drawstring at the waist, the problem could be solved.The good part is that the material is very light and dries quickly. Additionally I didn't feel too warm while biking.It may be a decent raincoat to keep you warm during a slow walk - but the seams are not engineered to stand up to any kind of moderately strenous activity.

Got this for my dad for walking the dog in all weather - he tosses it on over winter clothes in snow as well as spring rainy days.The only downfall is there is nothing reflective on it. He’s modified it with a reflective tape strip along his back so he can be seen when he can’t see the cars.

The groin in the pants instantly tore out, meaning i can't sit on wet surfaces with them at all; practically useless. The jacket seems okay, no tears (yet) and the zipper is sturdy. I only wanted the jacket really and this product was the cheapest option which is why i'm giving it 3 stars and not one. If you are looking for a high quality full rain suit, I would suggest looking elsewhere for the pants at least. Like I said, the jacket is okay and cheaper than buying an individual yellow jacket elsewhere. I would fit in a men's medium but got the large to wear over winter-wear (34" waist). Legs were too long for my 30" leg.

I'm very disappointed with these. I have worn Frogg Toggs for over a decade. I have worn them while riding a motorcycle in a thunderstorm and while bicycling and have never had a problem staying dry. Previously they were of a cloth-type material which was breathable yet waterproof. They're just lined plastic now. There was a flap over the zipper on the jacket to seal it and snaps to hold the flap in place. None of that exists on these. There is nothing on the jacket to hold the zipper protection flap in place. Even the sizing is off! I have older Frogg Toggs in large that fit just right over clothing. These are at least one size too large and make it look like I'm wearing two big yellow plastic bags. The only reason they got two stars is because I stayed dry riding my bicycle in the rain, but the wind blew the front flap open and rain seeped through the zipper. This went from a quality product that I have recommended to people for years to a bunch of garbage.

Needed quick delivery of some affordable rain gear before heading out for a 1700 mile motorcycle trip. On a motorcycle forum I belong to a bunch of folks recommended Frogg Toggs and I found these here on Amazon. Couldn't beat the price, and they arrived, as promised, the day before I was to leave. So glad I had them! I hit 4 major downpours during the trip and these babies held up GREAT! I'm an average sized guy, 5'11", 190 lbs, and ordered the large, which were perfect for me. I easily slipped them over my jeans and riding boots and they kept me totally dry. Flapped around a bit in the wind, but held up well; no tearing or rips. And they have good breathe-ability. I wasn't too hot wearing them until I really hit the sunshine again and then had to peel them off. But I love 'em, the price can't be beat, and I'm buying some for my wife and son who also ride their own bikes. I highly recommend these.

Haven’t tried it yet as it hasn’t rained since buying. One of the few times I’m wishing for rain so I can try it out. Our cottage is on an island and sometimes we are obliged to travel by boat in the rain which is why I made the purchase. With good reviews I don’t think you can go wrong at $29.99.

Anzug ist dünn, aber dicht. Wahrscheinlich reißt der Schritt der Hose zuerst, weil er zwischen Sattel und Po gezerrt wird. Der Reißverschluß der Jacke ist recht einfach, hat eine Abdeckleiste gegen Regen, aber keine Klettband oder so was ,um diese in Position zu halten. Größe: L passt für Leute um 1,85m. CARE: Wird immer im schwarzen Beutel geliefert. Ich habe gelb bestellt und wollte schon zurücksenden.

I have some crazy heavy neoprene cuff stuff for fishing surf but for a light get around in the rain, stow under the car seat outfit these are tremendous

I purchased 2 sets and both pairs of pants tore the first time my boys wore them. I expected that they would hold up for more than half a day.

Cheap spare for my grab-bag. It only has to work well once.
