It is a cost effective means of addressing mild hearing loss. It is small and easily wearable. I was amazed when trying it out on a visit to town, that I could hear my own foot steps, other people's conversations and the chirping of birds when passing a pet shop. However, you need to be careful in adjusting it to the right sound level. I set it up on the first night to watch TV, which was great, then my wife who was sitting next to me spoke and it was far too loud.

It’s great for watching tv if you’re on your own and it’s not raining as it picks up every sound!

Would be great if they came with standard fit earphone socket, the headphones are too short an they need replacing after a few weeks? They'd be perfect other than that.

I didn't use it at all, so can't comment. I was looking for a device which would enhance the voice specifically for my landline phone, but I must have misunderstood the description and ordered the wrong thing. It turned out to be an old-fashioned hearing aid, like those used in the 50s: i.e. with one earpiece, and a box to wear on the person.

The amplification is good but the background noise filter is not very good. Most importantly, this is a misleading photo. There is just one earbud and this is not enough. There is a stand-alone mike I could use if I did not use the ear buds. Or maybe the unedited instructions are just too confusing and the manufacturer will explain. Cheap, but as useless, poor value. I’d eagerly ripped up the packaging so can’t return this. Angry at self

My husband had bought expensive (thousands of pounds) private hearing aids, his packed up completely 2 days ago and last night after searching for anything to help we came across this. All the items sounded the same but this one took AAA batteries which we knew were easy to buy. My husband was reluctant to purchase at first as he didn’t want a huge box carried round with him. I asked him to read the reviews and information, which he did, after which he said for that money (£22) I guess it’s worth a try. He spent most of the day keeping to himself as he could not hear anything. Our delivery was around 3pm today and my husband was snoozing as not hearing gets him down that much. I left the product with him and when he woke up he said “oh it’s here, oh it’s much much smaller than I thought”. Anyway, after a few moments of trialing the settings he came to find me in the garden and said I can hear the birds singing, I can’t believe it, the sound quality, he says, is up there with his previous aids. He’s so happy and is back to himself. He says the cable, which is really thin, takes a bit of getting used to but it’s no problem and the little box is so small he has hung it on his T-shirt! He said he wished others knew about this clever little product, it’s already in such a short time helped relieve his tinnitus and in his words given him his weekend back!

Great if its on a none movable surface whilst watching the TV if no other noises are going on but i could say that about expensive aids . Not good in noisy places. Its loud, i only have the volume on half.Not much good for walking around with as it picks up your every move.

Very powerful did not you can get this kind of product I am sure you could hear ant speak also very reasonably priced
