Great travel bag
This bag is the absolute best for traveling! It might look small, but it holds so much! The straps are comfortable and secure without biting into your shoulders which makes it easier to wear for longer periods of time. My daughter took this on a backpacking trip in the UK for 3 weeks and never had any issues walking around with it. The style is more narrow so it’s not so bulky. Thule makes their bags to last!

Versatile, roomy, and great for travel!
This backpack was amazing. The detachable daypack was Fantastic for our day trips, hikes, and more.We were able to put a hydration pack in the laptop/tablet sleeve of the daypack which was so convenient! I love that the bag opens up from the side to make packing easier than most top loaders. The larger pack works as a carry on in the overhead as the smaller pack fits under your seat! We were able to carry on our bags on every single flight we were on throughout our monthlong journey through Asia! The versatility of ways to carry the bag made it easy to feel balanced even when I wound up on crutches for the travel home! The only downside, I wish the too hard top compartment opened the opposite direction. When the bag is laying down and open for loading, the top compartment opens downward and makes things fall out.Overall, my husband and I both loved our backpacks and would recommend them to anyone who plans on doing a long trip with carry-on only bags!

Great travel backpack!
I really love the way the zipper opens like a regular suitcase- makes it so easy to get in and out of. I also like the hard top section, which was perfect for keeping glasses from getting smushed. My only observation from my last travel backpack is that the straps are kind of stiff and at first I thought they might not be very comfortable? But after taking it on a big trip, I didn’t end up noticing it once the pack was on.

Feels like a good pack - I'd like one more outer pocket and more water resistance
I'll preface this by saying that I have not used the pack on a trip yet. However, I just got back from a trip and I transferred everything I had from my other pack to this one to see if I liked this one better than the one I had been using. The main reason I'm not totally satisfied with this pack it is because it's too small for my torso. My torso length is about 19.5", and the waist belt on this pack was at my belly, which isn't great for holding the weight of the pack. I'll list my pros and cons of this pack:Pros:- Plenty of room to hold what I needed for about 2 weeks.- Feels sturdy- Lightweight- Actually carries pretty well when loaded up despite the waist belt not being in the proper position - it was more comfortable than my last pack- I like how it's easy to buckle the outer straps and cinch the pack down to take up extra room and keep it tight to your body- It's really quick and easy to use the security features on this pack (i.e. securing the zippers)Cons:- I wish this pack had one more outer pocket for quick access, or perhaps an outer mesh pocket for stuffing in a jacket or hat.- It's a bit difficult to stuff in the stowable straps- I wish this pack were a bit more water resistant - I contacted Thule and they said it will be okay in a light rain, but it's not super water resistant and there is no water resistance to the zippers (I got caught in a downpour with my other pack on my last trip and I was extremely grateful for its great water resistance!)I am going to try the men's/unisex version of this pack to see if it fits me better - but that one does not have load lifter straps, so we'll see how that goes...Good luck in the search for the perfect pack!

Thule backpack for travel
Great backpack for one bag travel, accepted by all airlines. Looks smaller than it is. Great fabric and security features.

Thought this was best
I ordered many backpacks in advance of our trip to Europe, which would include done hiking in the Dolomites. This seemed like the best one. However, it turned out to be too bulky and heavy. I had a hard time carrying it for more than 1/2 - 1 hour. Doesn’t slip off my back easily. I will say that once I'm buckled in, it's easy to transport, but gets heavier and heavier as time passes.Next time, I'll get one with a lighter fabric, like Cotipaxi

Amazing bag!
I’m a luggage obsessed world traveler. I am so happy with this backpack. I love the materials and the way it packs. It’s like a traditional duffle bag with the best quality and fit (for a small female) backpack straps with waist band. It’s so comfortable and practical and nice! I just absolutely love it!!

Short woman - Used for 3 week trip to Europe
I purchased the 40L. I used this backpack for a 3 week trip to Europe. We visited multiple different cities and did not want to have to worry about tons of baggage to carry around. Realistically, I felt that I could get at least 5 days worth of clothing in this bag, 2 pairs of shoes, and toiletries. The top hard top portion of the bag was great protection for things such as sunglasses, phones, etc. but it did feel slightly awkward and poor choice of how to use the space (especially when you are planning every inch of your packing). I did appreciate the hidden compartment for passports/ID. We did not feel like we had to lock our bags because we were in safe places. I did purchase them if needed, but we never used them. The reason I went with this bag is because I am 5'3 and have a short torso - this was the best fit by far for a woman my size... my other option was the Osprey packs, but all of them were way to big on my back. My husband went with the Osprey Porter 46L and loved it. Hope this helps! :)
