It is quite hard to describe this pickle first of all this is actually more like a pulp/chutney than your conventional pickle, secondly this has more of Tamarind than Ginger but never the less is very tasty , my wife and mother loved it's unique zingy flavor, reason i gave 4 star rating and not 5 because Guntur red chilies used are tad too spicy for my liking but those who like it hot and spicy would adore this pickle.However packing was not the best cos when i received the product packet was slightly torn and there was some leakage.

It's exactly the way I expected it to be. This pickle is different from the traditional pickle, its appearance is like chutney and tastes sweet and spicy.

Too much cost for less taste

I am sure this product might be a local favorite but it appears that it does not suit my north Indian pallet. The ingredients look good. The pickle looks authentic and definitely better than any factory manufactured, synthetic ingredients based pickle. Its just that it does not suit my taste bud. Too much on the sweeter side.

Its very nice and main thing is without garlic.
