The saga of C&C begins
I love C&C and was excited to add this complete edition to my collection. The corner on the back cover was damaged, but I was able to straighten it enough to not really notice anymore. Still a good read, and a good start to a great series. And always nice putting the full story to the songs I've been jamming for a long time

Amazing Sci-Fi Adventure!
I’ve been a Coheed & Cambria fan ever since I was a kid and knew that their music had a whole sci-fi story around it but those comics were not available to me until these Ultimate Editions came out. It was well worth the wait. This first volume has everything you could want from a sci-fi adventure. Spaceships, intergalactic conflicts, alien species, energy/laser guns and a great story.

It All Makes Sense Now!
I’ve been a long-time Coheed & Cambria fan but in 20 years I’ve never read the stories or comics. Finally, I got a wild hair to order this and it has been an amazing experience.I know most of the songs by heart from the coinciding album and to read the story and see it beautifully illustrated, it’s like the pieces all come together and bring new meaning to the songs. If you’re like me and you’re a fan of the band but you’ve never read the comics, don’t hesitate. Reading this has given me a whole new appreciation for the music, almost like I’m experiencing it with fresh perspective or for the first time all over again. I can’t wait to read the rest of them!

Great book!
Recieved this book in perfect quality, no bent pages or scuffed corners. Always my worst fear when I order a book online. The book itself is really good. I will say though, trigger warning for SA. I didn't know that going into it and it kinda caught me off-guard. You can skip the SA scene because it's not that important to the plot. Otherwise, very good! I'd give it an 8/10 just because I feel like the SA was unnecessary.

A great collection.
The binding, covers and page quality of these books are top notch. I'm a huge coheed and cambria fan so these were must haves. Granted Claudio Sanchez writes music better than stories, these are still a must read for any fan who wants to know the story behind the lyrics. I can only hope he releases a comic and or novel for each album. With a bit of rewriting this series would be amazing as an animated television series.

If you're a fan looking to delve deeper into the lore, SSTB will not disappoint.
The Amory Wars series is pretty much requisite reading for any serious Coheed & Cambria fan. Being a fan of the band for fifteen years, the first installment was one of the highest priorities on my TBR list but finding a copy took a minute and I count myself lucky to have found it on Kindle. Sanchez deftly sets the stage to build the world of Coheed and Cambria Kilgannon, a family as normal as they come so it would appear- a white picket fence existence with a home in the suburbs and four children. But something's rotten in the state of Heaven's Fence and the past comes back to haunt the husband and wife, heartbreaking decisions forcing them to prevent the spread of the Sinstar virus and "save the world and millions of innocents along with it." Chaos follows that eventually brings them into conflict with the Supreme Tri-Mage and the Prise move to stop the fracturing of the Keywork. The lyrics from the album that gives this comic its title fit a little awkwardly at times but the larger story more than makes up for that (e.g. when that line from Delirium Trigger gets dropped- you'll know it when you see it!).

Awesome Read
Been a fan for years and finally got hold of the comics. Looking forward to this adventure, and it all starts here with this first volume. A must for fans who love graphic novels!

Great art, love the characters
As someone who only recently got into C&C I loved finally getting the context for some of the lyrics in the album Turbine. I really like how it also has the first releases.
