Does a great job popping kernals, use the small cup that acts as your measuring cup. It also melts your butter. It may take a while to melt completely.Keep in mind you have to rest the machine in between each cup to use if you want more popcorn.Pops different size kernals, but keep in mind the smaller kernals may pop out unpopped.Theres a size guide on the reccommended kernals to use. Popcorn makes a good and healthy whole-grain snack, far better for us and less costly than the unhealthy ultraprocessed snacks that dominate the grocery store shelves. I've been eating popcorn for more than 80 years, which says something in itself. I have several different poppers of various kinds but have settled on this for day-to-day use. It's virtues are that it is inexpensive; pops up a batch easily, quickly and with minimal effort; involves no oil; and is easy to clean. Its chief drawbacks are that it almost always produces quite a few unpopped old maid kernels and tends to blow popped and old-maid kernels far and wide. To remedy these problems would require a fundamentally different and probably more expensive design — I don't see any air poppers that look more promising in these respects. Despite the problems it remains the best popper I know.

One word describes this air popcorn popper. Perfect. It functions exactly as expected and heats up fast and makes the best air popped corn without any oil or other add ons. It does have the ability to melt butter on the top measuring cup if you want that. It pops every single kernel of corn and the on/off switch makes it so easy to use and leave on the counter if you want to. The safety features are noted on the instructions and clean up is a breeze. Plus I was able to store this in my pantry due to the compact size. This is the perfect popper for good healthy popcorn.

This worked well for about 9 months. I was so sad when it just stopped working last night. I was going to replace it, but think I will try a different brand/style. While I loved the healthy air popped popcorn, and it worked quickly, there are several drawbacks. First, one of the little plastic tabs on the lid broke while trying to attach the lid the very first time. Second, it spits some of the hot kernels out before they pop leaving some to pop in the bowl flying out of the bowl bringing other popped corn with it all over the counter and on the floor. Third, it leaves quite a few unpopped kernels in each batch. I feel like I waste a lot of kernels with this. Fourth, it’s very loud. And Finally, only lasted 9 months. For the price, I feel I got my money’s worth. Now I would like to find something with more longevity and that doesn’t make quite the mess.

I Don't like to do reviews on products like this (electronics) until I've had them for a while. However this air popper is amazing. And no this isn't a paid review in any way. I always loved microwave popcorn, there was a time I was basically eating a bag every night. Then for some reason I could only finish maybe half a bag before I felt icky. Not sure if it's the oils they use but I literally can't stand microwave popcorn, I can only eat a little. Anyways, I tried to start making popcorn on the stove top with a lid and a pot, but I couldn't get a good batch and I didn't like the taste or texture, again, the oil was making feel icky. Welp, when this arrived I tried it and used real butter and butter flavored popcorn salt and it is the best popcorn I've ever had, it's not heavy on my stomach or anything. Also, it makes popcorn really fast it's pretty crazy. I used to have an air popper years ago, but it was loud and I didn't know how to season the popcorn right. This thing is awesome for the price and I hope it lasts a while. Just be forwarned, it's a bit plasticy feeling, but hey if your not being rough with it, it might last a good while.
