I was trying to get an old for Taurus running and found out the starter was bad. After searching around at the local parts stores and seeing prices that were 3X the amount of this one I decided to get it. The starter is in a bit of an awkward place but I was able to jack up the car and replace it with in minutes. Car starts fine and my nephew has something to drive.One note is that it doesn't come with mounting bolts. I know I can, and did, use the old ones but still a few bolts would have been nice. Overall though it was definitely worth the price.

THIS STARTER IS A BRAND NEW STARTER AND IS NOT REBUILT NOR REMANUFACTURED. IT WORKS GREAT IN MY ENGINE, PERFECTLY! IT WAS ALSO VERY EASY TO WIRE UP AND MOUNT.

Let’s face it, if you own a ford 3.0 from the 90s and 2000s you’re going to be replacing these at some point thanks to the oil filter being right over it. Parts houses want anywhere from 120 to 200 bucks for the same component. These take maybe 15 minutes to swap one on car ramps. I’d happy buy again, worked perfect. Cannot beat the price.

my son installed this on his Ford Taurus, install wasnt bad, but thats car model specific. So far its been flawless. As a High School sophomore with a part time job, he starts his car numerous times a day. It's much better in price then the local auto parts store, and probably the same Chinese starter.
