A good read
This book is helpful for any ADHDer adult or any parent of a child with ADHD to truly understand how their symptoms manifest in different areas of their life. The author also, without placing blame on anyone, explains how these symptoms are related to the attachment styles each of us grew up with in our childhood homes.

A healing book
Just reading this book triggered a whole path of healing within me. Written with compassion and immense experience in dealing with patients with ADD, the author is able to connect the list of ADD symptoms with its debilitating effects on life in wide variety of ways, with real life examples. What I found very helpful was his exploration of how the development of the brain is affected by the environment in the growing years and what truly makes us susceptible to ADD. And when you get down to the bottom of it, you realise that root cause isn’ta weakness at all.At the end of this exploration, he shares key areas to focus on (irony unintended) in order to grow and heal the deficiencies and also how to choose what treatment works best (and not what to choose).Grateful for the wisdom.
