Mega for such a small item
Had my doubts for such a small piece of equipment but it far exceeds my expectations, it’s unbelievable for what it is. Great sound, separate bass & treble & it’s truly spectacular for the money & size.

Good small amplifier
It sounds good and is quite powerful.- In my setup so the volume dial does not attenuate nicely to silence, being close to zero already produces quite a loud output (could be because my input is too hot for the amp, or speakers are low impedance).- The LED indicator does not reflect the amp being turned on or off, it's lit all the time once it's been plugged to mains.- The external power brick is fine but the wires are rather low quality (fuse-less plug).

This is Pro equipment
I am new to the digital amp market after my trusted valve amp blew up. I opted for a cheap bluetooth amp but it broke after a month, so I got a refund and started looking again, reading every review possible and came across this amp the Nobsound NS-13G, just an amp but the reviews were really promising from tech engineers and studio geeks. I went for the 2021 upgraded version that has a 19v power supply that doesn't spark when connecting. This model has the treble and bass eq isolated if you want to run your speakers without eq. I have a pair of Mission 8 ohm 701's 25-100 watt per channel and the cheap bluetooth amp for £30 reduced for some reason to £20 (because they are crap) had a terrible sound so paying £58 for another amp was a bit risky. I added the banana plugs and plugged everything up and was blown away at the quality, loads of power, can even power a pair of 200watt speakers if you buy a more powerful power supply. I am a studio engineer and the amp has such a warm sound with bags of power for passive speakers so super happy and still can't believe something so tiny can produce such power 10/10

It plays music without speakers, and has a strong hiss
First time had such experience with Nobsound. Previously just their power supplies were returned as were noisy, but all amps I'm using are solid. Wanted to give a little more power to my 100W 6ohm bookshelves, but got only upset. Currently am powering them with a 3 channel nobsound amp and was satisfied with it at 50W per 4Ohm per channel + the 100W at 4Ohn for a 12" ported sub. Sounds loud and clear.Once connected the new upgraded nobsound red amp I immediately heard hissing on about half a volume. Support offered using lower volume setting, which does reduce the hiss, but doesn't remove it completely. So, when no signal - the hiss is very well heard on lowest volume. Tried three PSUs, one original (just two pins) and two of my own (24v 6A and a 19v 7.2A HiFi PSU). I am using Japanese power line conditioner too at zero improvement for the new red nobsound. It is loud, don't get me wrong, it does provide with tighter base on your speakers too, which was very nice. But this hissing is just killing it for me.When disconnecting the speakers I was unpleasantly surprised as the sound continued coming out of the units motherboard :) Yes, no speaker connected and I can still hear the music playing from the unit itself. This has completely turned me away from this new upgraded but raw version of a more powerful nobsound amp. Good try guys, just need to work on power delivery circuit.

Incredible performance for such a small unit.
I didn't expect much but was surprised at the performance. I first used it on my 8" reflex speaker cabinets- not bad. I bought a 24 volt, 6 amp power supply. great improvement and when I used on my 12" reflex cabinets, I was blown away by the bass and power. Would certainly have the power to fill a small hall. Worth spending the extra to get a 24-volt power supply. Both of my speaker systems are 8 ohms.so probably not developing the full 100 watts per channel. Input is sensitive enough not to need a pre-amp, when used with a tablet or laptop.

Only one channel works. Very annoying. Never again
One channel does not work.

Unreal performance for the size.
I’ve had one of these amps for a year , bought a second one for a family member who was blown away by the sound. Use my Nobsound to power a pair of JBL speakers in an outdoor space & it never fails to impress. .

Okay at a distance, but no good for nearfield
I had the same issue as another reviewer & had to return this amp because the hiss was just too loud. The box came with the tape already cut, so I'm probably not the first person to return this particular unit! The TPA3116 has a selectable input gain from 20-36dB, which is set by resistors on the board (eg not user changeable without voiding warranty). Seemingly all of these cheap TPA3116 amps come with it set to the second highest setting of 32dB & this Nobsound is no exception. Presumably this is done so the amp can still develop its full power even with a weak source like a smartphone's headphone socket. But the downside is that you get horrendously bad hiss when nothing is playing.I have an earlier version of this amp at my TV & for that scenario the hiss isn't noticeable - because I sit several metres away on my sofa. But I bought this new amp to use at my desk with my computer & from that closer range it's just far too loud.
