This is getting harder to find so I really hope they don't discontinue it. It's one of the only foods that doesn't bother my dog with allergies and proneness to pancreatitis. And they both like it. We even fill the Kongs and treats with it and freeze them.

I appreciate the sweet potato in this recipe. I have tried other brands of dog food and have been unhappy with the amount of white potatoes inside. The sweet potato was the deciding factor for me. I do wish the price was less expensive. It would be more convenient if this pate formula was available in portioned amounts for small breeds, but I will continue to use this brand.

My dog suffers from severe digestive issues that have caused her great pain and cost me an obscene amount of money. Rich, fatty dog foods are a disaster but it’s hard to find palatable, yet healthy low fat dog foods. That’s where Solid Gold Weight Control comes in. It conforms to the fat content limits placed by our vet and, yet, my dog loves it. It’s quite pricey, but less expensive and of better ingredient quality than prescription dog foods. It is highly recommended by Poppyseed and me.

Last 4 orders have come with dented cans. I have not complained because seal was still in tact but it’s too expensive to get all dented. Great product poor shipping. Giving 1 star because I am tired of getting dented cans!

Pup liked the food and the smell was acceptable. The problem is that the cost per can is almost $3.00 per can. I can buy 24 cans from Costco for $30.00 for a cost per can of $1.25 a can and pup is happy.

I DID my research to finally decide on SOLID GOLD WEIGHT for our Boarder Collie. He DID have bowel issues, getting back up on previous food.NOW ALL IS SOLID, HEALTHY IN APPEARANCE and REGULAR. If he is happy so are we !
