Extreme Dose Melatonin..... The book is certainly a jet ride for the most part. And just when you think Mr. Bowles has given you all the information you need to run to the store, he takes off again with more important info. So do not order your Melatonin until you finish the book because there is so much more to make this miracle better than you thought. What I like about Mister Bowles books he always tests his theory on himself first.He also mentioned other hormones that reverses aging. Funny I heard all the talk about hormone replacement for years and did not think I needed it. I thought getting pass grouchiness and night sweats was all that menopause was about, and I had accomplished that with 800 vitamin E.What made me buy this book was my head has started feeling somewhat numb, and I had a feeling it was not just low blood anymore which has always been my lot. This funny feeling in the head did not want to go away, you heard of the term "empty headed" that's another way of saying how I felt. Yes and I was having a harder time remembering things than usual. So I got the ebook.Mr. Jeff Bowles loves to do things big but I have not been able to mega dose the melatonin, However what I have been able to accomplish from the information he shares with us has caused my brains to feel more alive, and my memory is so much better. I have to stick to the Melatonin lower doses 3-9mgs so far, because I have to be able to wake up anytime of the night clear minded (Tip: do not get melatonin with lemon balm or other sleep helps if you are not taking it for sleep and want to wake up clear minded) . I am on 24 hour prayer call. i also added three of the other hormones Mr Jeff Bowles suggested to take along with the melatonin, amd I am shocked that most of my problems was just that I needed to replace the hormones.Updated 10/23/2017Furthermore: Do pay attention to the side effects he mentioned. They are mentioned in the book as he and some others have experienced.I found a 200mg Melaltonin per capsule on the internet.. Mr Jeff Bowles had worked himsefl up from less to 100mg to 500mg of melatonin. You should read how he did it and for how long. Anyway, for my memory sake I got a bit hasty. and tried one of these on a day that I stayed home, because of the warning. I was pretty much alert all day because I kept busy. as it got closer to evening I felt a little tired. When I when to sleep I slept straight to Morning about eleven hours.Well my brain felt much better, maybe I just needed a good nights sleep. I went back to the smaller does. Being consistent was also what helped in the AD cases that he shares from what i understood..By the way I did not throw out my 200mg capsules, I simply open up and take a pinch each night. I am now about up to 20mg.Updated 11/24/2017Because of the good sleep i get from Melatoni, I never got above a pinch from the capsules, because I have to sleep light.. But I wanted to share that my head still feels so much better. And that the melatonin keeps my blood pressure in a normal range, and also to my surprise it .healed my hemorrhoids. I have had to settle with a little is better than none. If it just helps me hold on to the memory I have i'm good..

Want to live longer and better read this book.
I liked the fact that is was easy for me, a layperson, to understand all of the chemical, hormones, drugs and their efficacies. The authors trials on water depravation versus food intake deprivation in keeping rats alive longer than can be imagined was so interesting. The medical,world has been pushing 8 glasses of water on us per day and it’s ironic it may be shortening our lives. Just a very interesting read especially if your family has experienced Alzheimer’s Disease. Many of these thing I wish I would have known when my mom was going through it with me as her caregiver.

Do I recommend this high dose melatonin? Idk if high dose melatonin is for everyone...
I’m currently giving this three stars because the author failed to mention crucial vitamins, minerals and amino acids that you MUST take in order to take high dose melatonin. Also, high dose melatonin isn’t for everyone. Nor is high dose vitamin D. I do, however, recommend high dose vitamin C. Check out Dr. Linus Pauling book on vitamin C written over 50 years ago! I’m happy taking 15mg of melatonin before bedtime and sleep like a rock which is the most important part of taking melatonin. I also take 12 grams of C in 3 divided doses, but it took me over a month and a half to build up to that without the laxative effect (same with magnesium citrate).

Too Much Meandering
I purchased the book because of the title. But, thoughMelatonin was covered, it represent only part of the text.A considerable amount of unnecessary content, IMO, wasinfused and rambled like exerts from other sources.

Interesting
It's too technical for me but I got the jist of it. I am 75 and youthful. I am taking melatonin at night and d3 k2 each day and intermittent fasting. I feel pretty good for my age I think.

Excellent resource
Great book to get tips on how to delay the aging process and stay healthy. I personally know fasting helps and keeps weight under control. I sexed progesterone at menopause and it is miracle calming hormone. I think less people would have a night cap if they realized the benefit of progesterone.Resources included where to shop. Unless the big companies make money - over the counter vitamins are not promoted. Great read if you are aging and want to stay healthy.
