The Militec-1 8 Oz Lubricant works awesome for my firearms, keeping them smooth and easy to clean. It’s a bit pricey, but a little goes a long way, and it doesn’t gum up even after heavy use.

I use this in one of my ARs and have no issues. Easy to apply and notice no issues with this compared to the gun oil I use. I have not put more than 1,000 rounds through the gun since applying so I cannot say whether it is better or worse than gun oil I use but didn't make it worse.

This product does require some heating of the metal surface of about 150°F to drive it into the crystal structure. Once sealed, it does a great job of protecting the metal from wear and tear. For instance, once it was accidentally used as a cutting oil on an aluminum workpiece which then stopped being drilled on a press and had to be replaced with a fresh metal piece. Great protection on a 4 cylinder motor run at high speed for hours after losing all the engine oil with no permanent damage.

Used in the military and on all my high end firearms that take abuse. If you have Dan Wessons and it says use this oil in the manual…..USE IT. The finish on your Dan Wesson DWX or DWXc can get stained using other products.

This is the best lubricant available, in my opinion. I use it on all my firearms. For weapons, I do not follow the instructions for heating the parts and multiple applications. I merely use it like I use any other gun oil. Maybe, with use, the product bonds to the metal. I prefer to let the process work itself out. The price might seem higher than other gun oils, but you really need to use very little at one time.Just a note as to what type of company Militec is: in the mid-2000s, before Militec was very well-known, I contacted the company about buying some 1 oz. bottles so I could ship them overseas to our military units in Iraq and Afghanistan. They sent me a case of ounce bottles, free of charge, which I sent abroad in my care packages. American owned. American made. American proud.

I have been using this product since 1993. Results always amazing. Oil additive has allowed me to get some very high mileage on passenger vehicles. 200,000 miles on a 1991 Mercury Cougars. Received $2,000 for trade in and the sales manager ended purchasing the vehicle for is own personal car, because it still ran so well. I also have a 1991 Isuzu PU with 160,000 that still run great. Use product for engine, transmission, power steering, gear boxes. ALSO, best firearm lubricant made. Wipe down a firearm with Militec no rust ever, and when cleaning, barrel residuals fall off.I would recommend this product as the best lubricant I have ever used. Cheers from Hawaii
