Very pliable and easy to work with!
Very pliable and easy to work with! Nothing not to like about this product. I watched a YouTube video that showed me how to install it on the bunks to my tracker pro V fishing boat trailer. Highly recommend.

Time will tell
I was carpeting trailer bunks and a walking plank for a double jet ski trailer. I purchased the CE Smith carpet for the bunks and “some place by a foot” brand for the walking plank. I watched many YouTube videos to learn how to do it went to work. I did the trailer bunks first with the Smith carpet. Working with the smith carpet was very good. I thought the carpet density (Pyle) and craftsmanship of the carpet could be better. I could cut it to length and work with it very easily. However I can not attest to its durability and longevity yet as I have not placed a ski on the trailer yet.I then used the “something By foot” carpet for the walking plank. That stuff was garbage and frayed worse than your cheapest indoor carpeting. They claim it has a rubber backing to it but it is the thinnest rubber you have ever seen. Tuffs of carpeting were just falling out all over and made for a lot of clean up after the job was done.I did like quality of the CE Smith carpeting but I wish I could have purchased it with a thicker density so I know It would last a long time.

Heavy, Easy to Work With Trailer Bunk Carpet
I was covering the bunks of a tritoon pontoon trailer. I cut the 18" width into 2 - 9" widths which covered the tops, sides, and partially covered the bottom of 2" x 4" painted #1 pine boards. By not covering the entire bottom, it allows the water to drain away from the wood much quicker. I discussed using pressure treated wood (micronized copper azole) with the treatment supplier who said that there would be a good possibility of corrosion on the aluminum pontoons with the pressure treated wood. They definitely did not recommend using treated wood, even with the carpet covering, next to aluminum. This carpet formed very well around the boards and was secured with 1/2" stainless staples. I would highly recommend this carpet for its thickness, 18" width, ease of forming around boards, and consistent quality!!

Appears better carpet than indoor / outdoor type from Home Depot
Just installed on boat trailer bunks. Cutting length wise = 9 " wide, was just enough to wrap around a 2 X 4 with gap of 1 1/2 " on bottom to allow for drainage. Used 1/2 " long stainless steel staples = too expensive, but necessary. This carpet seems thicker than indoor / outdoor type from Home Depot, yet is easily to conform to wood. Should be more durable than the HD carpet.

Soft, decently thick bunk carpet
We've only installed the carpet so I'll update the review after we've dunked it in the salt water a few times and see how it holds up. Overall it was easy to install and has a nice thickness. Perfect for our 26' trailer sailor
