Charges my MacBook Pro just as quickly as the original. Solid build quality, the USB-C to C cable is a good length and feels durable. No overheating, no issues – just plug in and go. Much more affordable than the official one but works perfectly. Highly recommend as a backup or replacement.

Unfortunately has stopped working in less than a year, it is very noisy and flashes, seems unsafe so having to buy a new one elsewhere.

I've owned macbooks since 2007 and this charger design is basically the same as ever, although there is a round blue LED dot on it. The packaging was with a little instruction booklet, and the item appeared to be new and in good condition, and felt more or less like an Apple product. I've been using this with a 2016/17 A1708 13" Macbook Pro for about a week, and have also used with a pass-through PD USB-C hub without any of the issues others have written about here, namely to do with heat and build-quality, so I'm happy with the purchase, although long-term I will of course see.

Worked well for about 3 months. However then noticed when it caused a spark so binned it as I didn’t want to risk damaging my laptop.

Had this for over a year now and it's proved robust and reliable. I wanted a spare charger to keep in my travel kit incase there was ever a problem with the Apple one and this was the right price to fill that role. Compatible with Apple Euro/US plugs too.
