I purchased a 10’x13’ Navy Blue cantilever, with LED lighting and highly recommend Purple Leaf outdoor products to anyone looking for quality outdoor cantilevers or pergolas. Their customer service and support is stellar. Personally, I communicated with Kate at Purple Leaf and she was always very responsive and helpful. There was unfortunately small damage to an LED lighting bar upon receiving it and inspecting it. It was most likely a result of the shipping process. Kate made arrangements to send out a replacement rib with the light, without hesitation. FedEx was the carrier and they were slow, to say the least. It took 12 days from California to the NW burbs of Chicago. I think a horse and buggy would have done it quicker!We are extremely pleased with the rich color of navy blue. The umbrella weighs approximately 90 pounds and is pretty manageable for assembly to the base but having a 2nd person there makes life much easier to lift it, steady it and slide it on the post.It functions very easily. Simply slide the handle up to the top position, crank the umbrella open and raise and lower or tilt it to multiple positions quite easily. If you have the space, it even rotates 360°.You want to be attentive to the wind. I purchased the umbrella with the top vent, which is designed to lessen wind resistance but I could definitely see high winds damaging the large cantilevers. It’s quite a large span for higher wind speeds to grab ahold of.I also purchased the large Purple Leaf base with wheels. The cantilever is on my deck. The large base with wheels practically eliminates any risk of scratching my deck while moving it as needed. The base has a crank on it that retracts the wheels and it sits on a series of rubber grommets. It has four separate removable compartments with large openings for filling with sand. I added a gallon of RV antifreeze (more environmentally friendly and non corrosive to plastic) to each compartment along with sand. I got each compartment up to 72-73 pounds for a total of 288-292 pounds. The umbrella weighs approximately 90 pounds. That’s a total of nearly 400 pounds. It’s not going anywhere.

Love! The light bars have a soft light that isn't glaring. I like the 360 degree option to move it umbrella w/sun. We recieved & put together the umbrella & it had 1 broken piece. I contacted the seller & within 24 hrs they contacted me. We recieved the new part in a couple of days. This was an ideal interaction with a company who obviously focuses on their customer service! We couldn't be happier

Umbrella has served as well for the past five years. Everything was great. There was a little bit of rust on the base this season when we opened it up, but I contacted customer service and they resolved the issue very quickly sending out a new bracket. The pin at the top also broke, but they are sending out a replacement. We live in the northeast with a lot of salt in the air and wind and it is held up very very well.

Ok first of all I’m OBSESSED you can move it all different directions and I love that it comes with a solar top so it lights up and looks so pretty at night! Quality is amazing as well and it’s my favorite purchase thus far, I’m in MI we only have a few months of warmth and have major plans this summer..I’d buy more if I had the room! So chick and stylish!

I haven't been able to enjoy this much because of the spring winds in the Southwest, but so far I absolutely love this umbrella! I like how many pivots/ directions I can turn it. I bought the base as well and am so glad I did! We had a couple days of some super high winds (>50 mph) but I kept this zipped up in is cover and even placed a bungee strap around it the entire unit for extra security and it's totally fine. Now I'm able to sit on my patio and block some of the intense western sunlight. So glad I made this purchase!

First please know we highly recommend this umbrella. The only reason we gave 4 vs 5 stars was the fact that one of the handles did not flush against the stand, however the company compensated us a small amount to keep it since it worked and we decided to do so. The other thing is that to remember to move the handle counterclockwise when opening is something we needed to put on the handle. However overall we are SOOOO pleased with the quality and the fact it moves from one side to the other we now only have to use one umbrella vs. 2 and can get shade we need as the sun moves during seasons and the light under the umbrella is beautiful. We love this umbrella and the stand we got is not too big so fits in our patio

I decided to wait a couple of years to review this umbrella because the most important feature to me is longevity in the elements. Well, I have been impressed. We just had a major windstorm in my area and of course I put on the cover and hoped for the best.The cover has never come off in the wind but in this instance, it did. The wind got underneath the long cover and blew it off. I am not sure how long it was exposed. When I realized the issue, I managed to secure it back together and bungee-strapped the bottom so that this wouldn't happen again. It worked perfectly. It wasn't until the next day that I was able to open the umbrella and check for damage. Here is a picture showing little, if any, damage. I hardly ever write reviews but this deserved one. Also, this thing has been a lifesaver during hot, sunny days. 5 Stars!!
