This bag far exceeds expectations based on price. I've used this bag 5 days a week for over four years now, in all weather conditions. Never have I felt like it wasn't up to the task. I've attached two photos, one before, and one after a good wash with some saddle soap and then some leather conditioner. My only complaint is that the canvas liner is not durable in the slightest. But the leather is fine enough that I don't even think you even need the liner. It still functions as it's supposed to, and I'd definitely recommend it to someone looking for a durable bag that won't break the bank.

High quality, great design, well made! Handles my 11” iPad, iPhone 14, wallet, note book, and every else I need to get through a busy day. Looks so much better than the pictures in the posting. Tleather not only looks great, it smells good too! Real value!

This is a very nice looking bag and is crafted well. The measurements (13" size) stated in the listing are also very accurate on the sizing details. I got the bag to have a light weight bag to carry my Tablet, Wallet, Keys, Project planner-notepad, etc. daily and they all fit perfectly with a couple pen holders to make it easier to locate when needed instead of having to dig to bottom to find a writing utensil. Inside is separated into two primary sections. One of which I use for my 10.5" tablet with room to spare. And the other for a planner / med. sized book or other personal items. There is also an outside zipper pocket on the backside in addition to the magnetic snapping pocket on the front. Front pocket does not quite accommodate my Edge Plus smartphone (6.5" X 3.25" in size) but easily holds a man's Med/Lge. bifold wallet. The strap is double the thickness of the split leather along with a layer of Poly/nylon webbing on the side that is not seen when being worn and the inside is lined with a similar medium weight fabric. The thread stitching is done well BUT a little heaver thread probably wouldn't have hurt if it had been used to increase the durability. -- The reason for a 4 rating is the quality of material selected for the product. It is "Genuine Leather" as expected which is basically the description for leather that is usually split leather from the bottom cut with little to no grain that is heavily processed. (the smell fades with a few uses) -- Hence the bag is not TOP GRAIN nor FULL GRAIN leather however it IS leather, just the thinner lightweight grade. The bag is quite stiff and holds it's shape well. -- OVERALL, I like the bag and it is compatible with the pricing paid. Durable enough for light weight items carried day to day and appealing enough in appearance to be worn with Business Office attire clothing as a messenger / satchel bag for men. --Would buy again and recommend if you are seeking a reasonably priced light weight bag.

This bag is very well made and hold everything I need, including my tablet. My only recommendation for future designs is to have a taller front pocket to better accommodate larger cell phones.

This is a good bag for a 11 inch laptop or chromebook. Tyhe description says that it would fit a 13 inch laptop. I would not do this because id possibly causing damage to either the bag or the laptop. This bag has some suprising quality control problems. First on the top right and left corner of the main compartment the top edge was not finished. This was first noticed because the color was lighter that the rest of the bag. On closer inspection I saw that the leather which is very thin was pulling apart and the stitching was starting to unravel. This was fixed using a crayon to correct the color and seam sealer to seal the end and prevent the seam from coming apart. Luckily this flaw was detected before any stress was placed on the seam.On the strap there are several places where the leather which seems to be tissue paper thin is starting to peal off. This is before i even started to use the bag.Finally the two parts of the shoulder strap are set up so when they are buckled together the buckle falls right on the shoulder or a person's neck. It would be a great improvement if either a pad was provided ( none was) to pad the buckle or one part of the strap was far shorter than the other causing the strap buckle to stay off the actual shoulder.The appearance of the bag taken as a whole is very good and the dark green color of the interior is a nice change fron the light green of other bags but the finishing and lack of quality control was a disappointment

So.....I've literally never written a review for Amazon before but I value the input that people make. After having this bag for three years, it was one of the best purchases I've ever made. The fact that you can pay this little for quality leather material that has no worn out a single bit.This bag is only for some. When looking for a bag, I wanted something other than something that could carry a 15-inch or 16-inch laptop. Every day I have my Bible, my 13-inch iPad Pro with a Magic keyboard, a couple of pens, one charger brick, two charger cords to include my iPad and iPhone, and a wireless charger. On occurrences, I'll bring an extra book and random papers that I need.I am a church youth pastor and constantly lag this bag around. It allows me to talk at length with people without needing to put the bag down and go elsewhere because of its convenient size and weight. As stated earlier, this bag has traveled with me and has been my daily driver for years, and it still holds up.The only, and I mean the ONLY, negative comment is the clip. The clip has fallen off a couple of times, and I've had to reinstall it. Besides, you won't find a better bag if you are looking for a light, sturdy daily driver to lug around a 13-inch laptop or iPad and essential items. And it costs $38? It's a no brainer.
