Perfect fit, relatively easy to install, looks great.
As compared to OEM, these look really great. There were 2 differences I noticed, first, on OEM, one light is amber not red. The second difference, for my 04' eclipse was that there was an extra screw. It took a minute to realize I could simply unscrew it out. So for Installation, it wasn't any worse than replacing (tight spots for wrenches), and once I figured out just to unscrew the extra post, it was relatively simple. Again, they look great, (especially compared to a busted one).

Great Fit and Sharp Looking
These fit perfectly on my 2001 Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder. It took about two hours to install both. Mainly because of the removal of the old taillights and removing panels in the trunk. They look sharp and really dress up your ride.

Easy install
Loved how easy the installation was. Works and fit like the original. Installed on a 2003 Mitsubishi eclipse convertible gts.

Fit 2003 GT
They look great. Drivers side was easy to install and fit prefect. Passenger side was a little harder to get in had to customize it a little but both are in and look great.

Poor quality
Hate leaving bad reviews but this was a really poor product. The lights were very thin and came scratched. The inner sealant glue was very thick with a poor bubbly line that could be seen through the lights. I tinted using “night shaded” instead of returning. They did not fit my 2001 Mitsubishi Eclipse without alterations. The assembly came with an extra bolt on the back of the light that had to be ripped off with vise grips to match the bolt holes on the car. The wiring housing for the passenger side light also did not fit in the light assembly and had to be re wired through the car. Took over an hour to install.

Modification needed for 2003 Eclipse GS Coupe
Dremel to the rescue! Now that the taillights are installed they look great; however we ran into significant installation issues for our 2003 Eclipse GS Coupe.First off each taillight assembly has 4 mounting bolts that are part of the assembly. Our OEM taillights only have 3 bolts per assembly and the car only has 3 bolt holes through the body. Using the Dremel we cut off the extra bolt on the back of each taillight assembly. The second modification needed is where the wiring connector attaches to the back of each taillight assembly. The plastic piece meant to secure the wiring connector was about 1/2" too tall and not shaped correctly for our car. Using the Dremel we cut about 1/2" off that plastic piece. Without making it shorter it prevented us from fully seating each taillight assembly. Note: this modification requires no electrical knowledge. You still use your original wiring connectors, bulbs, bulb sockets, etc. We were not modifying the wiring connector, but instead just where the wiring connector gets secured to the back of the taillight assembly. One final note is that the light bulb sockets, which are meant to snap into a hole on the taillight assembly and then twist about a 1/4 turn to secure them, didn't connect as securely as I'd like. The keyed section of each hole is not identical to the OEM taillight assemblies, so it was difficult to snap each bulb socket into place and they didn't turn as much as they should have. I hope they don't come loose from the assembly after driving on bumpy roads. Now that the new taillight assemblies are installed, they look and work great! The amount of modification required was quite disappointing. I wish I'd taken pictures during the process to include with this review. I also wish I knew more about the taillight variations in the different Eclipse model years and trim packages. I assume these taillight assemblies are a perfect fit for at least some of the 2000 - 2005 Eclipse options. The visible side of the taillight assemblies are exactly right for our car; however, the hidden mounting side of the assemblies were certainly not a match to the OEM taillight assemblies on our 2003 Eclipse GS Coupe.
