I got this one because it only has one door, not two, and less plastic on the top. Works super well and is relatively easy to clean. The included stuff is quite nice; my wife loves the graphic design of the bags. Popcorn making is easy, but I would say if you're making like 2oz of popcorn, pay careful attention as it pops, it will be done quick.Best practice is to ignore the book when it says to preheat the oil. Just dump the coconut oil, the popcorn, and the Flavacol (make sure you buy some!) in the hopper all at once. The manual advises against this, but if you buy pre-made packs of oil/popcorn/salt, they say to dump it all in at once. I've done both methods and preheating oil really doesn't make it better, and not adding the salt in the kettle means it never quite has that movie theater taste.I've done Flavacol salt + my oil + my popcorn, as well as the pre-made packs, and the pre-made packs are easier, but doing everything separate is cheaper and also easy.Anyway there are a LOT of very similar machines on Amazon and it took me a while to pull the trigger. This one I have been very happy with, so buy with confidence!

I was looking for a popcorn machine as I got tired of always buying microwave popcorn. My wife was dead against a movie theater style popcorn machine, saying it was to big and would be a hassle. Well now that I’ve bought it she absolutely loves it. We eat popcorn every day. I bought the pre measured packets with coconut oil, salt and, 8oz of popcorn. It’s simple. Cleanup takes about 5 minutes. It pops the corn in about 3 minutes and it’s healthier than microwave popcorn bags. It’s a greater alternative than junk foods. Basically we both love it. I don’t regret my purchase at all.

After researching different popcorn machines for months, I finally decided to land on this one. We purchased this for our loft upstairs to put on top of our custom built snack bar area we just had completed and it looks fantastic. It was definitely more on the pricier side compared to other ones we were considering, it but I liked the options this one provided as well as the look and the positive reviews to back it. We have used it once already and it worked absolutely perfectly and the popcorn tasted great. The kids also love it and we look forward to using this for years to come. So far so good.

Looks good and works well. Easy to use and consistent. I got the great northern brand popcorn bags with it. 8oz pre mixed kernels. Can make about 3 full bags of popcorn that tastes exactly like the movies in less than a few minutes from the time you switch it on to a full load.

Love this thing! I researched and researched and settled on this guy. Arrived in flawless condition - assembly the door and installed the pot. Cleaned and started popping.An 8oz package of popcorn (I tried the Great Northern - very salty, not much butter flavor. Bought the Gold Medal - very buttery, not overly salty - actually added a little salt - my go to brand) produces 2 gallon bags of popcorn. Neighbors love it - when we get together, we put it the garage, there is always some in there. The warmer keeps the popcorn from getting cool / chewy - stays warm / hot and crunchy - even during humid summer days.

Metal flap bow the glass door that flips out is a poor design and cheaply constructed. Hinge can bind, door bends, and when closed usually doesn't allow the glass door above it to close tight. If you are looking for something more than a table ornament, find something else.

The popcorn popper is great ... brings back memories of going to the movies as a kid. But there is one thing you should avoid and that is using canola oil ... it will gum up the inside of the pot and the stirrer over time. I realize canola oil is healthy but use coconut oil instead, gives better flavor. if buying the packet with the oil, popcorn and flavorcol they are great but make sure they are coconut oil. for a change, crush up cheetos in a powder and use that in liu of the salt.

This product is very poor quality. The popcorn kettle gets stuck often so that you can’t turn the kernels out and they burn. The metal in the machine is flimsy and bends easily. Very disappointing.
