I used this pencil sharpener for almost 3 years, it even survived a 2nd grader cramming a pencil in there backwards, you know metal tip and eraser first? However it only survived about 3 months into teaching a sixth grade class, but that’s not the sharpener’s fault.Bought a second one after that and it lasted about 15 months…not as amazing but not bad-again though….sixth graders.

I am a teacher and this is a great sharpener. It always does the job. I am a repeat customer. I have this sharpener at home and school.

This pencil sharpener is fantastic - especially valuable if you have a classroom full of kids! I purchased my first one after seeing it in my daughters TK class and I have not been disappointed. It rarely jams or clogs - minimal maintenance required - and you can go a long time between emptyings. Easily adjusted to different sizes of pencils. My daughter has used from age 5 to age 10 and we've used in a classroom as well. You won't go wrong with this sharpener both to have at home or in the classroom!

This thing is amazing. Didn’t realize what I was missing out on in my classroom until I got this. It’s night and day from those no-name Chinese junk ones sold here on Amazon. If you teach, you need this in your room.

The sharpener works great. However, it is not the item I ordered. It is different from the pictured model. I intentionally ordered the model pictured because of the reviews I read on the model they sent me. I'm keeping it but I better not have any issues with it or I won't be happy about it.

I have been teaching now for almost 10 years. I have gone through numerous pencil sharpeners. This was the latest one I purchased... 4 years ago! I am starting to see some wear, so I got back on to see if there was a replacement head I can purchase since the motor is still working fine. If not, I will definitely buy another whole sharpener to replace my old one.Side note... It would probably have lasted even longer except for some students thinking... no they were not thinking, when they squirted it full of hand sanitizer about a month after I purchased it. Even though I couldn't get all of it out of all the nooks and crannies, this pencil sharpener has been soldiering on for 4 years now.
