Hape Baby Bird Pull-Along | Wooden Wobbling & Flapping Pull Toddler Toy, Bright Colors

Wish this had a handle other than an abrupt end of a tiny string. I added a wooden ellipse shaped bead about 2 inches long and tied two knots in the string.My little 1 year old loves this. She likes watching it roll as she pushes it away and ahe drags it too. Its colorful, noisy, animated, portable, exuberant, sturdily made and has various simple actions which can stimulate introspective learning.I particularly like the weighted feature which gives the body motion. The tail is a different material and my baby finds it very interesting just in itself. I like this toy a lot and will save it for future kids in the family.

The media could not be loaded. Love this little pull toy.Our crawling baby enjoys going after it, and the clicking wings makes it that much more entertaining. It is cute, made well, and safe & easy to use. The rubber lining the wheels gives it a good grip, too.

Doesn’t turn well

We got this as a gift for our one-year-old and I’m really impressed. It rolls smoothly across the floor, rights itself on most turns, and makes the most pleasant noise. She loves to use it on carpet and hard floors. It doesn’t leave marks on the floors and it’s heavy enough that she can’t yank it off the floor or topple it when she walks.

Cute as heck which is why it gets a moderate rating. Only trouble is that it's not very maneuverable - fine when being pulled along straight at low speed but cannot make a turn. I think it might be too top heavy. When my grandson changes direction and pulls the toy along with him, it tips onto its side and gets dragged around without rolling so can't do the cute little wing flapping feature. Cute and bright, sturdy but needs a rebuild.

This pull toy is one of the best designs that I have encountered!! There is no assembly. It is ready to play with immediately. The flaps make a pleasant clicking sound when the toddler is pulling the toy, and seem to aid the toy in righting itself (small pull toys often seem to be dragged around on their sides after tot takes them down a step or around a corner, which can be frustrating for the little ones!). The big wheels with the soft rubber "tires" roll so well the bird gains speed and often outpaces the toddler, delighting them with the opportunity to pull and then chase the toy. Highly recommend for 9 months and up!!

Very sturdy and solid, our one year old loves it!

I wish the string was longer, but my 1 year old niece absolutely loves this birdie. It’s brightly colored and feels nostalgic but modern at the same time. He rolls smoothly too!
