I am a professional herbalist and I have worked with herbs all my life. Starwest Herbs are always excellent! The rose petals work great in teas, making scented oils for homemade soaps, lotions, candles and more. This was a great purchase, the amount of buds & petals in it just took me for a loop. Quite affordable, will last a while, but since i use quite often, will be purchasing more in near future. In my opinion this is a must have purchase.

These roses are so beautiful and smell amazing. I made rose water with it, and it was the most beautiful shade of red, brimming with fragrance! Because the buds are included it retains a slight grassy smell, so just petals are best for extracting fragrance; however this does the job nicely. I plan on using this for infusions, clay masks, and soap making. I am very pleased. Also, I haven't noticed any critters among the roses, but I will be vigilant and update accordingly.

Starwest is one of my top four favorite suppliers for teas, which have become immensely important for my immune health.I have recently discovered I can cook with them too..They were one of the first suppliers I tried and I am so grateful. I would appreciate resealable bags though, but the bags are great for blocking out the light. I try to store my teas and dried herbs in mason jars, and store in a cool dry place, but it will take awhile for me to get enough of the ones that block out the light.Rose buds and petals are not always available when I've looked.. so I was very excited to get this! It really is great for my health, Im amazed that it helped my skin as well.. and it turns some of the bitter teas sweeter without honey or added sweeteners, which I didn't know.Thank you!

I use these in herbal blends for teas, bath salts, sachets and oils. Great fragrance!

The great thing about this is that one pound of this is a lot! However, this type of rose does not have a rose fragrance. It would have been nice to know specifically what kind of rose before purchasing.

If you need this stuff get it here bc it's amazing and exactly what I expected.

Haven't used them, yet but they smell great.
