The old hound, like clockwork, in September, has allergies and at the joint in both front legs, eventually loses her fur from constant licking. That necessitate a 3-4 month ordeal of cleaning the skin, trying all sorts of healing and anti itch remedies and covering with a bandage to keep her from constantly licking, and allowing it to heal. Thus far no problems. The product seems to work quite well. Now if I could spray it on her tongue to get her to quit barking all the time it would be a 10 star product!

Doesn't really work on my Lhasa

This spray for your furry animal is a life saver. No more visits to the vet and expensive products for problem yorkie skin hot spots and allergies caused by flea bites. However, the smell is a little strong. I had to keep him with me as my mother is allergic to the smell. After 3 days the smell diminishes.. Certainly a life saver- and oh..Don't forget to buy the "PPP Tar-ific Skin Relief shampoo". This product is just excellent as well. My yorkie is a happy camper and so is the owner!

I wrote a review on the cream for this product and have no complaints on the product itself. Again the issue lies in the container. I would of loved a spray that would continue spraying if held upside down. My 2 senior dogs get hot spots just about everywhere but particularly on the top of their toes and belly. I have to do a balancing act and maneuvers to get the spray on and I often find the sprayer top turns to easily causing me to totally miss their hot spots. A little red arrow showing the direction of the outlet would be a nice touch. I never feel that manufacturer's even consider the less than ideal conditions that these products are applied under like struggling to keep a large dog still, finding and hitting the right spots and having hot spots on their belly and toes. They just put it in a spray bottle and put it on the market.Other than that, I would recommend it and keep using it although I will purchase an upside down spray bottle with large adjustable spray actuator for future applications.Just wanted to add to previous comment as a lot of people are commenting on the smell. I personally think it smells just fine and do not find it offensive at all. I'd take the odor over what my ole girl normally smells like. It kind of reminds me of Noxzema cream that you apply to your face for cleansing and moisturizing.

I'm not sure how this has so many good reviews. It was a complete waste of money. And it smells HORRIBLE!!!!!!!
