Awesome
The booklet states that the machine should be used on 110-120v supply, however the machine has the operating voltage marked at 220-240 v. Not sure why the information on booklet is incorrect. The machine does all that you expect and then some more. The speed and accuracy is amazing

Robust and user friendly
No complaints. My only suggestion is to make the tool more scroller friendly by adding a pivoting upper section.

Will built
Plain blade set screws are missed so pinless blades cannot be attached. Rest all good.

Excellent
It is a part of our production machinery in our small wood working company. And it does wonderful work. Have been using from Oct 2022 and it has seen over a year of regular use. We cut bamboo which is hard compared to most woods. And the saw has held up well. We do vacuum it after use and lube the bearings once a week.Like it so much so we are getting another (for redundancy). This saw has been our happy introduction to scrolling. The motor is good- after a year's use the brushes were still going strong-seemed to me when I checked once.Takes pinned and pinless blades.Only issues we had were one of the Allen bolt heads (from the blade locking mechanism) wearing out with use, which was easily replaced, and the second one was that dust managed to get into the very well sealed switch- once opened and cleaned out, it is back on the job.For home based novices to workshops, this machine is good. Makita has done an excellent product. And the paint and colour look great!Ours was made in Taiwan.

A good scroll saw
I purchased this outside of amazon, leaving a review so that it will be useful for other buyers.ProsAccepts pinned and painless bladesBlade tension lever is on the frontBlower is very effectiveSound levels are very lowCan cut thin and thick wood's, just need to use the right blades and speedCan fix coping saw blades on the saw for intricate cutsConsThe table is very small. Large pieces hang outside the tableThe blade change mechanism is irritating. It uses a hex keyThe hold down foot always get in the way. Ended up removing itMakita blades have some defect, all blades broke at the same exact place within few minutes of use. Finally switched to other brand blades

Totally waste
Not worth to money. Very worst service. Accessories cost is too high. Pin blade cost also too high compare to normal blades.
