Rediscovery of local music and the expressive religion
I recently joined a local church choir and we are practicing for a Xmas concert at the start of December. rediscovering artist listening to BBC and local groups the radio has been invaluable in training vocals and preparing for Thursday nights.

Alarm clock radio
Has good sound on FM and a.m. Easy controls and menu onscreen. Sw frequency have little pickup of stations and when locks on station there's too much interference to decipher audio broadcast.Alarm setting is for radio broadcast only and is only for last station used.Using headphones on radio on FM with strong stereo signal is nice. A.m wavelength is ok.So if you're ok with listen to FM/a.m wavelength and limited alarm option then go for it.

Very poor instructions!
Soooo annoying! Instructions are useless, and some print so small I had to get out the magnifier. Pre-sets seemingly can't be switched off or cleared, and without them the tuning is painfully slow. Also Radio 4 signal is not very strong, so it's not picked up by the scan. This makes me want to return this radio. The time does not display properly - no display for AM/PM, and changing the time requires a further annoying epic of experimenting. That said, the sound is not bad for such a tiny radio, and it does take rechargeable batteries. I bought it replace another small radio which died of old age - after about 25 years! Hate to say this, but it's true ... they don't make 'em like they used to.Update: I returned the radio. After a few hours of use, I couldn't turn the radio off! The radio/time switch was faulty. Bought a Retekess, which is perfect.

Worked well to start with, now not functioning
Started off really good but after just a short while the radio cuts off after just a few seconds, it will play if I keep my finger on the on or sleep button but once released it cuts out.
