Beginners Friendly
As my first ever gunpla and my First experience in building , I rate it 10 out of 10, was fairly easy to build for a beginner, only needed a nipper.Took my time, and was a relaxing activity.

It’s great/screen accurate/ + great for a beginner
This kit was super simple, easy, and quick compared to other hg models I have done. It took me nearly 5 hours to assemble this guy. And the end results are great! I’d totally recommend this specific HG kit for someone who’s a beginner. My over all thoughts rating on this kit is a 9/10

Easy. Fun. Good poses.
This was my first Gunpla! I had a lot of fun! Be aware that you could potentially leave stress marks on the plastic, especially on the beam rifle muzzle. Forcing it on was not a good idea...

A fun kit
The one thing I noticed when looking at reviews for this kit is that most of the negatives were from fans who didn't like the robot.Well, this is the first kit like this that I've ever assembled, but I am an expert model builder who has assembled pretty much everything. I've done plastic kits. I've never done a plastic kit this high quality that did not require glue (though I did use some). If quality is your concern, then you need not worry. The difficulty level is something that I think might be miscommunicated in the reviews. Many say that it is entry level or beginner, and I think the reason for that is largely price. It's not going to break the bank if you lose a piece (which I did) or if it breaks. On a 10-scale, I would put it at a solid 5 meaning that it's not beginner, but it is a fun challenge.I'll be buying more kits like this in the future. This one was a lot of fun to build.

My first Gunpla model
This was the first model kit I've ever done, and it was absolutely fantastic. Very simple, no tools were necessary (besides some tweezers when I was cleaning up) and the final result was awesome and had a ton of cool details, if not more than the Gundam it's based on. This one is a lot cheaper than others that I've seen, but either way I'll be getting another sometime.

Must Buy for New Gunpla Builders
The Revive RX-78-2 is the second kit to come out of the Revive lineup from Bandai. It's new proportions may turn off the fans of the anime or fans of the older model kits. It comes with a smaller head and a thinner stature, but it doesn't bother me so much. It also does not come with any other stickers than the ones for it's face and inner eye pieces and the red sticker for the pelvis, which is great for new builders but may seem lacking for any who want a bit more to make it look less like a plastic toy and more like a realistic military robot.Pros: It comes with a good arsenal of weapons for you pose it with and play with. The iconic beam rifle, hyper bazooka, and two beam sabers for close combat. The head construction gives you a choice of using a regular sticker, or using a clear eye piece and silver foil stickers to create depth to the eyes that can never be achieved with stickers. Articulation is exceptional for the arms and legs, but the way the polycap is placed the shoulders can move up and down but not forward and back. This allows it to be posed in such a way as to shoot the sky like in the anime, but limits a tiny bit of movement for arms if you're used to building other models. The color separation for the kit is great and only requires a little bit of grey paint to make it match it's box art and the model that is posed in its manual.Cons: It doesn't come with the Beam Javelin, which is a separate purchase through import of a magazine that includes that.Building / Fun Factor: Hands down one of my favorite to build. Loved building it so much that I went and bought a second kit for me to customize and play with. With that said, it's a simple build process that will require at most 4 hours of diligent and focused work. A little more time for panel lining and painting if you want to go the extra mile.
