I recently purchased this blade ,and must say I am happy with it thus far.It has an affordable price ,feels good in the hand and appears well made ,( time will tell ) .I'm happy that Condor chose to produce the knife in a few different colors as well..I have been pleased with Condor knives in the past and this one is no different it definitely doesnt bite !!

This is a great bushcraft knife, 1095 high carbon steel. Comes packed in cardboard box, inside a plastic bag, with a light oil coat. It is my understanding this is a handmade knife, which explains for a slightly uneven grind. Hair shaving sharp out of the box. There are "prettier" knives out there, but this might be the best one under 50 dollars. (Pictures: knife and sheath against Camelbak's coyote brown).

I'm a great example of the market this knife was supposed to appeal to. A person that doesn't make that much money, but wants a great bush-craft knife that will work for everything. I have batoned hard word like it was nothing, carved notches, and started three fires using my fire stick and this knife. I would suggest it to anybody doing outdoor/camping activities. And the low price makes it even sweeter.

I love the knife, it came super sharp, and nicely oiled. The handle fits my hand well and with the handle texture it should have good grip even in wet weather. The sheath is nice but the knife sets too low in it and doesn't leave much handle to grab when trying to remove it. I added a lanyard to help with that issue, but larger handed people may have issues pulling the knife from the sheath when attached to a belt on the hip.

Love it! Very comfortable in the hands. The blade is thick enough to be sturdy, but not too thick for more delicate work.

This knife does EVERYTHING well,as good or better than any knife I have ever owned at a very reasonable price

Great sturdy knife for beginner and experienced bushcrafters alike. I would recommend carrying a small bottle of oil lubricant such as you receive with a new electric razor for upkeep to prevent rust. A drop applied after each use will keep this knife in good working order for years to come.

The blade grind is almost even but there are a few issues. The handle has a defect and is off center, causing a pretty rough seam line. Also this blade came with a rounded tip. Will be requesting an exchange as it is otherwise a great value.
