Best flashlight for it's size
I've got a lot of flashlights and this is the best one for its size. Waterproof.Very bright, with dimmer setting for battery savings. Has a side COB light for using as a work light, especially useful with the magnetic base. Has a mode that flashes SOS, probably won't use that, hopefully.Very rugged aluminum case. Nice feature is pull front lens forward to focus the beam, wide to narrow, as desired. On/off button illuminates when light is on so easy to find for mode control.NOTE that you don't have to cycle all modes to get to OFF. Just hold the power button down a few seconds in any mode, and it turns off.I wrapped the end of the flashlight with some gaffer's tape, so I can hold it in my mouth without damaging teeth, since the case is metal.Rechargeable! AND it uses a pop-out 18650 battery, so you can keep several backups on hand, and can charge outside the flashlight with an external charger. A MUST for heavy use, although the battery seems to last well. The included battery wasn't branded, but others are available.I just bought an external charger that comes with 2 18650 branded batteries, and will charge a wide range of rechargeable batteries. It shows charge level, and can also be used as a power bank to charge phones etc. Good stuff!

It's good
I'm in the maintenance and construction industry. I could be working on a boiler 1 hour and then the next hour I could be in a crawl space or up in a tile ceiling or on the roof. And the magnet on the back of the flashlight is pretty awesome. Sometimes the focus on the front of the flashlight gets a little loose when you drop it, but I've gravity check mine so many times. I'm surprised it even works. I've ordered this set probably three times over the last 5 years. The only thing that really agitates me about it is the rechargeable battery. They burn out but the quality of the flashlight itself is pretty good for what you pay for. There are more expensive better ones out there. But for the money I feel like this is a pretty good deal. Also, if you are thinking about buying it, you should just make sure you read the instructions on the charging amperage of your brick or USB port and cable. If you use something that is not strong enough, you'll burn it up.

Surprisingly good at what it does!
I use these when I'm up on a ladder, inspecting some controllers or electronics, and this flashlight, despite being pretty generic overall, has been surprisingly good!Pros:Magnetic base - this guy sticks well to conduit, I-beams, panel doors, even the lid on my grill with no problem!COB Side light - nice and bright, good covering illumination! I had to look up what COB meant, (chip on board), but that doesn't keep it from being a great light.Cons:Battery - The included battery is pretty generic, and doesn't last long at all. I wondered what its mAh rating was, but all it says is "LED 18650 3.7V", which honestly is a little weird. I mean, the battery doesn't have any LEDs on it at all. Then I realized it felt a bit light compared to other 18650 batteries I own. In the pictures attached to this post, the bettery that comes with this flashlight (the black and red one) weighs in at 34g. my Nitecore 18650, 2400mAh battery is 46g.Charging port cover - this tiny piece of rubber will definitely tear off in no time, feels flimsy.Main LED - generic at best, I'd have to get a light meter, but I'd be amazed if it actually did 1000 lumens. It's OK, though, pretty comparable to most cheap LED lights with the little slide zoom / focus lens that they come with.Overall: Good for everyday use in rough environments where you know you'll bang it up, drop it and probably replace it in a few months to a year, glad it comes in a 2 pack!! Great value for the price!

Cute toy. Don't depend on it
Plumber here. Needed a magnetic , high lumen torch for crawl spaces. The triple concept of high, low and wide lighting was ideal for the purchase, not to mention I got two for 20 something dollars. Waterproof is also what sold me on this. It's a micro USB c charge which I thought would be helpful. So after a week of using this in the field, here Is my opinionThis is an emergency only flashlight. By emergency, I sorta mean more of, oh no, the power went out. I would never recommend this to anyone who desperately needs a flashlight. It will fail your expectations faster than my ex.The first few days it was a God send, popped this bad boy out and tossed it at any metal in a dark corner and crawl space and darkness became day. I even sorta bragged about how handy it was. Battery lasted an extremely long time and it was indeed waterproof as an installation of a waterheater proved. Charged it . Used it again. No issues. Perfect . Third charge it seemed to take awhile longer to go green, didn't think anything of it cause I have extensively used it at a previous job site .Fourth job, all within 5 days mind you, fresh off the charger , tossed it onto a pipe and it lit the entire crawl space for a total of maybe 3 minutes and died.Hasn't worked since. Its currently on the charger as I write this showing a green light. It will turn on for a moment or two and then go dark like it's shot.So overall, I would only recommend this to people who are not in the work force. I should have gone milwaukee, I knew better , I gambled and lost and worked an extra hour or two in the dark. Don't buy this if you need a light . Buy it if you want a light
