Minelab Equinox 800 Multi-IQ Metal Detector with Black Padded Carry Bag

I've purchased two less expensive detectors before and was disappointed. This model is well worth the money. Haven't found gold yet, but lots of interesting things.

I bought the Equinox 800 and am very happy with it. That said, I didn't really check out any other detectors but after I received it and watching more Youtube videos, I wonder if the 600 is just as good minus a couple of features and I could have saved some money. But I'm very happy with the 800. Took it out the same day it came in after charging it up and found 2 shotgun shell bottoms that are nearly 100 years old in my back yard! I can't wait to take it out to a place where I will have much better luck.

What a great metal detector! After I figured out how to use it I love it!

Though I'm fairly new to the metal detection hobby, I have learned how to get this machine up and running with relative ease. It does have a learning curve, but there is a vast amount of information on this model through many different sources. ie YouTube, various detecting forums, etc.. I have no buyers remorse with this purchase.
