Does this protect cords from pets? I have 3 rabbits....

I'm the seller. This split wire loom tubing is used to organize and manage the wires. It doesn't protect cords from pets chewing.

The outside diameter of 0.5" split wire loom is 0.67", the outside diameter of 0.75" split wire loom is 0.925". You can choose a suitable clip according to the outside diameter.

You need to measure the whole diameter of 5 cat 6 Ethernet cables. If the whole diameter of 5 cat 6 Ethernet cables is 7/8'', you should buy 7/8'' split wire loom. If the whole diameter of 5 cat 6 Ethernet cables is 1'', you should buy 1''.

What size split loom would i need for a pair of 1/0 welding cables (0.526" od)? would i be better off wrapping them separately in 5/8" loom?

Be careful ordering 5/8” loom. Most people selling 5/8” loom are measuring by the OD of the tubing (which means it is actually 1/2” ID wire loom) and would probably be a bit more snug than you would like.
