I have been wearing Philosophy's Ballet Rose for years and was so upset when I found they had discontinued that lotion. I did a lot of internet research on trying to find a similar type of scent and found this Ouai Melrose Place mentioned. I tried it and am so glad I did! It is such a nice soft scent. Similar to Ballet Rose but not a duplicate but I like it just as much. I ended up buying the body wash as well and using the two together really smells nice. I love taking a shower at night and using them both before bed. It is such a great scent to calm for bedtime. In addition to smelling good I also feel it's very moisturizing with a thick feel to the body cream. If I have any complaint at all it is that I would like a body lotion in addition to the body cream. I see they do have a hand lotion option which I may get to carry with me for touch ups as unfortunately the smell does not carry all day. But overall I am very pleased and not so devastated about Ballet Rose being discontinued now.

This whipped body cream is a perfect follow up to the body wash. I purchase the Melrose Place scent for the body wash and for the body Crème, the Anita scent was chosen . The body wash is moisturizing and it doesn’t feel like glue. It is light and creamy feeling. The scent is pleasant and stays for a short while. You can apply it over dry skin. You may need several additional applications. Your skin will become more soft and dry skin will disappear.The Body Crème is a great gift you give yourself!

Best body cream for my aging skin. Love the smell, texture and moisturizing properties of this product. Love this cream! I bought the St. Barts scent.

Best cream ever- it makes your skin super soft stops. Any itching if you have any and also when you get in the shower, the next day you still have some on your skin.

I love the way the body cream on your skin and leaves it moisturized, I’m on the fence about the scent. I’m really particular with fragrances more like used in a spa, which is fine, but I don’t like a lot of their fragrances. The scent does remain for a while but eventually fades , so I might be able to handle it, but I love the way it feels and moisturizes. I also ordered their Melrose fragrance and I’m not sure which one I can handle more. It’s also a little too perfumey.

I smelled it while in the jar and I thought shoot it’s gross. Once it’s on it smells so good. I will keep buying this one. Well worth the money!!!!

This lotion is light and absorbs into the skin. It is also breathable in that it doesn’t trap the heat in the skin if you are outdoors in a hot, humid climate (which I am) The scent of St Barts is definitely tropical rather than perfumery. Think pineapple coconut with a twist. It’s a nice cream however not at this price point. I’m going to be brutally honest, in texture, scent, longevity, creaminess, it is exactly the same as the Hawaiian Tropic Coolada after sun lotion I have and that was a bit of a let down. I bought the 7oz jar and once it’s used I do not see myself splurging on this again.

subtle clean coconut scent. No greasy residue left behind. Good size even for 3.4 oz so worth the price.
