Great Quality CV Joint Rebuild Kit – Perfect Fit for My Jeep Wrangler!
I recently installed the CCIU 932-306 Front Drive Shaft CV Joint Rebuild Kit on my 2012 Jeep Wrangler (3.6L), and I couldn’t be happier with the results. If you’re a Jeep owner dealing with a worn-out or noisy CV joint, this kit is a must-have. Here’s why:Perfect Fit: This rebuild kit is made to fit the 2007-2013 Jeep Wrangler with the 3.6L and 3.8L engines, and it fits like a glove! The parts were exact replacements for the factory components, and everything lined up perfectly during installation. No modification needed, which is a huge relief.High-Quality Components: The quality of the parts in this kit is excellent. The CV joint, boots, and bearings are all solid and appear to be made from durable, long-lasting materials. I was pleasantly surprised by the attention to detail in the components—everything looks well-built and feels like it’s made to withstand the rigors of off-roading.Affordable Solution: Replacing a whole drive shaft or getting a professional repair can be expensive, but this rebuild kit saved me a lot of money. The cost of this kit is a fraction of what I would’ve paid to have a new drive shaft installed, and I feel confident that it will last for many miles.

Be careful when selecting
I have a 2010 Jeep Wrangler jk and this is my second time replacing cv joints. It’s easy to do especially if you have wobble sockets or wobble Allen wrench depending on the bolts you have. The main thing you need to watch out for which I thought was very weird compared to the old one I had are the gaskets. The previous one I replaced looked exactly like the factory one and lasted 80k roughly. This one that I bought lasted 682 miles since I installed it. The problem lies with the gasket, it only comes with one for the boot side and is milled out to receive it. The cap side is smooth and has no gasket whatsoever in the packaging or milled out like the factory ones so I thought about putting some RTV but didn’t see anything about that in the install. Thinking that this is how the kit came, that it was fine but it is not, the grease leaked out of the cap side wearing out the joint very quickly and hearing the clicking of a failing cv joint. So there are options, either use rtv to seal the cap just like the boot side or buy a cv joint that has a gasket on both sides with the joint being milled out for it. So far I have only seen three sellers that have that, teraflex $157, doorman $163 and garage-pro $63 or driveshaftparts.com which also have the right ones. So the option is yours but I will not buy this ever again, I know the price is tempting but for a few bucks more you can get the right one from Garage-pro or driveshaftparts.com. Luckily I only used 1 out of the 3 I bought and I made a good choice there so I will be returning the rest. This is negligence on my part for taking their word and the seller/manufacture saying it’s equivalent to OEM but I learned my lesson, should have listened to my gut feeling and hope you can make an informed decision from here.

Great
Seems to be great for the everyday use. I don’t know about offloading, but for every day use, it’s great.

Inexpensive replacement for inevitable torn boot
The paper gasket it came with was torn, so I did not use it. I was able to gently pry off the OEM rubber gasket and reuse. The CV joint was very stiff, even after packing with grease. The replacement process was pretty easy with the video tutorials available on the web.

Smoking
I installed it and drove 10 minutes down the road and it was boiling the grease out of it. Idk if the tolerance is to tight or if it will loosen and be ok or what? I'll find out.
