White's Penlighter Holder
This holds the batteries for a White's metal detector. My husband has been using it since it arrived and it is working great.

Works as advertised
Nothing incredible to it- it holds batteries I put in and works perfectly. Never had a problem and I own 3 of them now in case they're suddenly discontinued for some reason....

Perfect fit for metal detector
I lost my original battery holder for my metal detector. Found and bought this. It’s a perfect fit.

Don't leave batteries in them!
Price could be less! However I did leave batteries in the old one until they corroded. l am in the process of repairing the metal detector as we speak. The battery holder is a direct replacement for the OEM.

Great Battery Pack
Whites Penlight battery holder. I bought this for my MXT. Firstly it shipped fast and came to us in perfect condition. Basically it holds 8 AA battery's and slides into the detector as it's battery pack. What I found nice about this is you can use rechargeable batteries that you already use for other items in your home. I realize White's makes a rechargeable NICad battery pack and it's own special charger but NICAD is a dated battery style with many drawbacks, limited life and the price is a bit much for something that can only be used on my detector. Rechargeable batteries are cheap (NICad or other) and easy to replace in this if one goes bad vs scrapping a dedicated pack. It is a bit of pain to put the batteries in it, but honestly just only takes less than a minute. It works well and has a very long life with good rechargeables in it, several trips a field per recharge. It's seems very well made and durable for many years of use. Thank you

Works!!!
I bought this as a replacement battery case for our metal detector. I was a little skeptical because I did not know if it would work properly with our metal detector but I was surprised once it came in I put new batteries in it put it in the metal detector and it works great. It actually works better than the old one that was in there, I would say make sure that you look at your model number serial number before you purchase a replacement part for the metal detector .
