CRL Double Magnetic Latch for Glass Doors

My wife wanted a cupboard to display her coffee mug collection and oriental cups and bowls. She had 2 requirements: It must be visible behind glass doors and the doors have to open fully to the side. These latches were the perfect solution so the "glass" was unobstructed mostly and they open by pushing on the silver tabs at the top which pops out a springed magnetic rod. To close, just push gently till the magnetic springs latch on itself and the doors are held fast by the magnets on the latch and the metal on the "glass" door. The doors open fully more than shown and the hinges are uxcell Glass Door Hinge - 0 Degree Cupboard Showcase Cabinet Door Hinge Glass Clamp,Zinc Alloy, for 5-8mm Glass Thickness 4Pcs (not the 180 degree). I said "glass" as these are really Lexan sheets (12" x 36" - Clear Polycarbonate Lexan Sheet - 1/4" Thick) from estreetplastics.com. Glass is cheaper but I broke or scratched every one of them when I attempted to make picture frame glass. Lexan is more forgiving when cutting to size, and at least for this application, does not wobble. I'm told it does scratch so wipe gently with a microfiber cloth and keep those sticky hands away from the "glass" - that's what those metal tabs at the top are for!

everything work as advertised. Only black color was available, Just wish ther were more color option to match my cabinet.

I bought this to put in a cabinet for a custom glass double-door install in an existing cabinet. It works well, exactly as expected.

Great quality construction

The hinges are metal..the case around it is plastic. Will not work for heated areas. will melt. so i render this useless for me.
