Wow - what a great sounding tweet!
What a different sound!!! I have Martin Logan electromotion electrostatic speakers for my front sound stage. What I noticed was that the very high end frequencies didn't express quite as cleanly or well defined as I wanted. I noticed that Martin Logan uses these airmotion folded tweets in their center channel and other speaker setups. I figured if it was good enough for ML it was good enough for KK (me). I built a 3rd order Butterworth crossover at 5k - good steep drop off slope. Also used an L-pad to allow for custom attenuation that can be throttled with the main speaker. Positioned the tweet to the outside of the main speaker to open up the sound stage. Wow - these are clean and natural sounding!!! I would recommend these for any tweeter application if the price point fits the project. I will be adding these to my truck speaker system shortly - should be an impressive upgrade.

Sound is Amazing.
This is going to my second set. They will make your speakers sound like very high quality. Great for music. For movies, the sound is very balanced. No more high treble to hear your ears. I will compare my speakers to some that cost 1000 dollars.

I love these tweeters more everyday
I love these tweeters more everyday. I hope to build a pair of custom speakers but in the mean time i built an adapter and put them into a pair of original Large Advent loudspeakers. The sound blends with the massive bass of the Advents Re-listening to my old music is great.

Great job Dayton audio
Great job Dayton audio. These tweeters are very clear. You hear instruments that you don't normally here with other tweeters.

Amazing Clear & Effortless sound...
Adding to the previous reviews, these are amazing tweeters. They don't even sound like tweeters, because they don't exaggerate the highs. Instead they produce clear & effortless sound with incredible presence and extension, that brings out all the details in your music. If you shop around, name brand AMT Tweeters cost 3-4 times what these do. $200-$400 is crazy money to spend, but these sound like you spent that much. Check the speaker leads, mine were touching the shell, so I added a layer of electrical tape to assure there was no accidental shorting.Although I did not buy this tweeter here, I have what I believe is the same product [Tianle AMT65-4]. I crossed over at 2.8Khz in a 2-Way /6.5" system. System frequency response measured flat from 1Khz to 15Khz. My system fluctuated in response below 1Khz, but that is no fault of these tweeters. If you can fit these, I can't imagine a better option.I have another system running ASK AMT Tweeters (at 3 times the cost). To compare, these seem a little bit smoother, where the ASK seemed more dynamic. I believe that is because of the better amplifier, in the ASK system. Regardless these compare well to a high end ASK AMT. If you like lots of clarity from the upper mids to the extreme top end, AMT Tweeters are the ticket.
