We tried going to a local hardware store to replace the springs that broke in my 90 year old mom's recliner. They gave us the wrong ones and we even showed them a broken one. I went online and quickly found exactly what I needed. Easy to install them. My mom's recliner is fixed and she is so happy.

Only one spring was broken. I used both springs on one side which seemed to be enough to get things working.

Internet sites, and local dealer had prices for Kenmore dishwasher door springs...at $33-35 each....plus shipping charges or $80+tx for two....these at $12 and change for the pair are an almost perfect fit and work perfectly. Good deal. They have very slightly less pull than OEM, but I installed them in the longest fit hole to make up the difference, and they seem perfect.

I bought these to fix my 6 yr old recliners and they worked great. They were pretty easy to install as long as you know where they were located on the recliner.
