Flimsy but works.
It's metal, but the tolerances aren't tight. It'll grind the lenses and doesn't feel secure. Good enough for what I need but wouldn't recommend using it outdoors with heavy lenses especially in bad weather.

Works great, but.....
This works great, but something you have to understand is this changes the focal point. For one example I used these on my Sony AIII and a Sony 24mm 1.4GM. To focus on an item you need the front of the lens about 1 inch away from the subject. This is too close if you want to take a picture of a bee or something that is alive. On my Sony 24-70mm 2.8 GM I need to be about 2 inches away to focus on something. The range of 24-70 didn't make much difference. For my last example I used my Sony 85mm 1.8 lens. The minimum focus distance on this lens is pretty far at 2.62 feet (80cm). With this lens I can be about 1 foot away to focus on my subject. Here are some tips; If you use manual focus and focus as close as possible you can get more magnification, and if you focus to infinity you can get less. Also, use the 16mm extension tube on the camera body first if you are stacking these. If I put the 10m extension tube on the camera, and attach the 16mm on the lens, I get a funny yellow color. If I attach the 16mm tube on the camera body, and then stack the 10mm, the color is fine. For best results I'd use a lens that has a longer minimum focusing distance. I think any of the Sony 70-200mm lenses would work excellent with this kit. I don't have such a lens yet though. Autofocus is pretty good. I took some of my practice shots on a $1 dollar bill and my camera was actually using eye autofocus on George Washington's eyes.

Funcionan perfecto

Love it, worth every penny.
Just got this in and love it on A7iii, even with kit lens.I ordered 2 sets to stack them to get even closer and it's pretty nice. Autofocus works but you get better results in manual. I found it easier to zoom in all the way, put manual focus on, play with the focus (I had best and closest focus when focus bar was on the left, not infinity)then guide the camera/tripod where I wanted and move it close in till object is in focus and lock everything once I get what I want. The construction feels good so far, we'll see how long it last, but right now I'm really happy. Was also cheaper to get 2 sets of these then the plastic ones. The picture I added shows the tip of the dart being damaged, I couldn't see that with my eye. And the sharpness is great. This is straight out of camera. ISO 100, 1/60, F5.6, with flash.

Does exactly what it says it does.
Really happy with my purchase, works exactly as described on my Sony A7. This product is well made and a nice tight fir with no movement once locked in. All camera functions work as they should and it does allow you to get a lot closer to smaller objects and insects while still having auto focus ability. For anyone wishing to try some close up photography before investing in an expensive macro lens it is well worth considering.

Good value for macro photography.
The item works flawlessly on my Sony a6400 using the stock Sony 16-50mm lens. Did a test run with a piece of volcanic rock and was happy with the results.
