It may also be used to help remove dead tissue in some wounds to help wound healing. This effect helps the dead skin cells fall off and helps the skin keep more water in.

Q: Is this natural urea or synthetically derived?

Urea is produced / synthesized from Ammonia gas and carbon dioxide gas As far as I am aware there are no suppliers of urea derived from urine not since the 1800s This ACS quality material is the purest available

Q: If I was adding this to 4 ouces of homemade foot cream how much would I need to add to bring the Urea to 40%?

Adding 2.68 Ounces by weight to the existing 4 ounces assuming weight will result in 40% urea

Q: can I add it to my hair products, like shampoo or leave in conditioner? If so what percentage should I add?

Many of our customers use this product in their hair and skin care formulations, the percentage depends on the particular use and the other ingredients, most of our customers have a "secret formula" so research and experimentation may be needed.
