Was very easy to put together, my daughters loved to play with it

So I purchased this item for my granddaughter I'm not much of a builder I really have problems reading instruction and so I was afraid that this may be one of those challenges for me but to my surprise it the way they wrote the instruction was very easy to manage to read it understand it and assemble it I love the fact that every school came with a letter and the measurement and I love the fact that the instruction shows you where the screw go which measurement goes for it and that helped me a lot because some instruction doesn't come with that did you send you the screws and that's it this one's it shows you in the paper how the assemble it but also in back the cardboard with the screws comes also shows you which one belongs to what side of the panel of the washer and the dryer very easy to assemble the material this item for kids is great I love to material I love the fact that it was easy to assemble and if it's in the corner perfectly and my granddaughter is enjoying it and I'm glad that I was the one who built it for her so easy to do I was really proud of myself to do it for her because the instruction allowed me to do it

I bought this along with the KidKraft kitchen for my daughter for Christmas. She has LOVED it! In a time where children have too many electronics to keep them busy, I was beyond thrilled that my 8 year old asked for something like this for Christmas. Watching her use her imagination while "doing her laundry" has been priceless.The set was easy to put together but be prepared to spend a few hours to do so. The instructions were pretty straightforward.The design is very sturdy and I can see this easily lasting through her childhood. We have loved KidKraft products for our children for this very reason.As I mentioned before, toys like this promote the use of imagination and creativity in our little ones. With so many options out there for gaming systems, tablets, and even phones for our young children it's nice to know that there are still toys out there that our children will choose to play with over electronics. Albert Einstein said that the true sign of intelligence is not knowledge but imagination. It's so important!This is a high quality toy that is worth the price paid. Shipping was fast and it was boxed so that it protected the product. It's very heavy and I like that it came with hardware to secure it to the wall so that it won't tip over and injure your child. I appreciate the company being concerned for our children's safety.The cute little washer and dryer doors can open 2 ways. You can open them up like little cupboards or use the round windowed door on the front of the cupboard door (see pictures).It has an attached space where they can "iron" the clothing with the iron provided. The little dials actually turn and make clicking sounds. There is a space on top for your little one to store their pretend laundry soap or dryer sheets, which we purchased separately from a different company.There is a chalkboard on one side that your child can write his/her "to-do list". It comes with an adorable laundry basket that stores in a cubby under the dryer.Everything that comes with this washer and dryer set are all made out of sturdy wood and it's all toddler friendly, if your little one is smaller. There are no small parts that can be choked on.I will definitely be buying more from this seller.

The product was extremely easy to put together, and the instruction were very clear! It’s exactly what you think you were getting and really high-quality wood. Can’t wait to give this to my niece for Christmas who is 18 months old!

I don't understand it but my 5.5-year-old loves this thing.

Note: I would have given this 3.5 to 4 stars if it hadn't broke during assembly.UPDATE: From 3 stars to 3.5 stars for excellent customer service and a repaired product. They sent the replacement piece, it arrived quickly, it assembled without breaking this time, and I haven't had any trouble with it since (it's been a while now).Original Review:First, I do like the style of this set. I would have likes it better in that retro Aqua blue color we got the kitchen in, or in a white and tan version, as I don't love the colors of this. However, it's cute.Features I love:The iron. The chalk board. The clicking knobs.Features I wish it had: a way to "tumble" the clothes. A piece of chalk included. The rumble feature could be achieved by making adding a "tub" that is attached to the window pieces and a knob in the window piece. Spin the knob around the circumference of the window and the tub would spin.So barring the REAL issue I had (more on that in a moment) I do think this is worth 3.5-4 stars and with the tumble feature added and a nicer color selection would have been worth 5.So why only 2 stars? Well, nothing lined up right the whole time I was putting it together. But everything I finished screwing in, it seemed to right itself. Until I was putting in the last bolt. At that time, the wood splintered (will add picture to customer images). That would have made it 1 star for some, but I was able to spackle it closed and since it was only 1 bolt, it still holds together and is usable. I am hoping kidkraft will send me replacement parts. I would need pieces 5 (top board) and A and B to fix this. I will update this review if they provide me the pieces.My advice would be to make sure everything lines up even if you have to take apart and reassemble. I'm not sure if that would fix it, but worth a shot to not have it break!This was one of the easier kidkraft products to assemble, ironically, aside from the part where it broke at the last minute ;)My older daughter is already having fun pretending to do laundry and iron clothes.UPDATE #1: I called customer service. They were neither exceptionally pleasant nor unhelpful or unkind. They are sending me the replacement parts and did not give me any fuss over doing so. At no cost to me. That was the correct action. I don't need customer service to be overly sweet. They were efficient. I will update again once I receive the replacement parts on how the second attempt goes and any tips I may come up with at that time. In the meantime, I am upgrading the rating to 3 stars in good faith.

This is a perfectly made kids dream…..very easy to assemble myself. Wipes clean easily, the color and size was exactly what I wanted. My daughter received this for Christmas two years ago when she was almost 7, she STILL plays with this now and the height is just right for her still.
