Neutrogena Soothing Clear Gel, 3 Fl Oz

I've tried hundreds of moisturizers over the years, but this is (or I guess "was") my absolute all time favorite the last year or two. For a guy with acne-prone combination/oily skin, it's always been quite difficult to find a good daily moisturizer to use after showering/shaving that moisturizes without making my whole face oily or shiny, doesn't cause acne, blackheads or clog pores, and doesn't cause irritation and in-grown hairs when used after shaving.So I was VERY happy when I found and tried this turmeric gel moisturizer, and it was absolutely incredible.Soothes shaving irritation and irritation in general that used to cause acne, moisturizes incredibly well for how light it is, smells great without being perfum-ey (girlfriend loves the scent too), and reduces shine very well.I've used it nonstop since I found it for almost 2 years now!But I was extremely disheartened today when I went to reorder, found it was out of stock except from some third party inflated price sellers, and discovered on Neutrogena's official site that it's DISCONTINUED?!?! Why??They always seem to stop making my favorite products and I don't get why. This one was almost perfect in every way, and I just wanted to leave this review in hopes they will change their mind or someone will create suitable alternatives. Until then, I will use my last few bottles very sparingly, and mourn the loss of an incredible product once I finally run out!

This moisturizer is extremely lightweight and smells fresh. I am sad that this line has been discontinued by Neutrogena because I have been using this moisturizer along with the tumeric foaming cleanser for over a year now. It is gentle on my sensitive combination acne-prone skin and perfect for daily use, aside from in the winter when I sometimes need a heavier moisturizer.

This product is the best of the Neutrogena products I've used. I discovered it a couple of months ago. My skin is so happy with it and I will use it from now on. I purchased a new one even before the first one finesh.The fragrance is the best because is not strong and the texture of the product is perfect and penetrates the skin very well. I'm very satisfied with it and I highly recommend this product.

A corner popped and some product leaked in shipping, but fine otherwise. It smells earthy and nice and doesn't feel heavy on application. Feels like you'd expect a gel moisturizer to feel. It may irritate skin from fragrance or turmeric, but seems to work well!

I love this gel moisturizer. It feels light, not sticky. Not oily. I have combination skin, and this works for all of my face and neck. My skin feels soft snd velvety after I put it on. I just love the smell, as well. I can’t describe it. Perhaps it’s the turmeric?I can’t speak to the soothing aspect, I have a pink complexion, I haven’t noticed if it has calmed down any redness, as I put in my makeup right after using my moisturizer.

Literally love this product. Been looking for it for years bc I can’t find it in stores anymore. This stuff will clear your face up in one use! Only weird thing was they put a American sticker over the bottle which is really in Sweden or something. Either way it works !

This is the best moisturizer ever! I love the scent so much, and it's cool and refreshing on my face. It soaks in quickly and doesn't leave me feeling oily. I haven't noticed any breakouts from the product and I have really sensitive skin. This is just great! Neutrogena has really stepped up their game with some of their new lines lately. I bought a bottle on Amazon, but then found it for cheaper at my local Walgreens.

So let me start of by saying that the product intially is not a bad product. It is good for combo/oily skin types but the only complaint I have is the fragrance. Usually I don't have any sensitivity to fragrance in skin care(I don't intially go out of my way to use product with fragrance but if it does it usually doesn't bother me) it caused stinging on my jawline and I noticed a little rash from irritation. I have used this product years ago and didn't remember experiencing that but this time I did. So yeah there are better products out there but just be warned that it may sting or cause a rash due to an reaction
