This was a perfect purchase for me.
Like many on here I was looking for a solution for making milk alternatives at home -- and I have a Vitamix already, dreading the idea of adding another machine to my kitchen. I have had soy milk makers in the past so I also understand how they are a bother to clean the filter and use sometimes. This item is simple, easy to use, easy to clean, and attractive. I first tried making oat milk, very easy. I then made coconut milk, still easy. Those are the two you can make quickly. While this was great for regular milk I have been searching for something to replace my creamer in the morning that froths -- so I used cashew next, which requires soaking. IT IS AMAZING. IT'S PERFECT. So easy to use. The cashew milk is beautiful -- while it doesn't drain well due to all the sediment, i used a spatchula and swirled it around the basket to help get the liquid to drain. 10000% would recommend to all and buy again.

Works well overall
I like the quality of the product. However, I used plunger that came with my vitamix mixer to push down on the pulp. It does take bit of time, but I prefer this over squeezing almond milk out of the muslin cloth. I did use muslin cloth to squeeze some milk out of the almond pulp left in this jar at the end but it was not bad and it only took a minute or so to do so. I made milk using 2 cups of almonds this time but I think making just 1 cup might be easier and better with this jar because the pulp won't overflow while plunging.

Very Helpful Nut Milk Strainer
This makes making coconut milk and oat milk much easier! I previously clipped cheese cloth to a container to strain my milks, which rarely went well. The strainer is much more stable and also easier to clean. The glass is somewhat thin, but I expect it to last awhile. The strainer part seems quite durable. I would definitely suggest this to others who make their own milk alternatives.

Made a mess. Not worth the price.
I was hopeful but this made a bigger mess than just using a nut milk bag. I made cashew milk. The product description implies all kinds of nuts can be used. The plastic funnel just sits on top, there’s no way to lock in place and seal so when I poured the mixture from the blender, once the small filter section was filled it just started leaking out the sides.Maybe if you make a tiny batch splash into coffee this is a good solution, but I don’t have time to babysit this filter.I do like the glass container and lid, but not worth it for me to keep.I’m returning.

Fantastic Nut Milk Maker!
I researched all types of nut milk makers from simple to complex. The complex and more expensive ones consistently reported 'difficult to clean' with some hefty price tags. I just wanted nut milk, not all the bells & whistles with clean up headaches. The Chef'n Nut Milk Maker is exactly what I wanted/needed. I use my own blender (who needs yet ANOTHER appliance?!) and filter the mixture with the Chef'n Nut Milk Maker for the tastiest nut milk I've ever tasted! Clean and delicious. Started diving into recipes for the nut pulp last night, making almond pulp granola bars and almond pulp granola. YUM x2!!! I'm buying two more Chef'n Nut Milk Makers for my sister & daughter. Totally sold!

Do not try for Oat Milk
NOT good for making Oat Milk. Overflows and spills all over. Maybe its good for other nuts.

It works with a little modification.
Well it didn’t make me more motivated to make almond milk that’s for sure. But that’s on me. As for the device when I do use it I use a screen colander to pour from the blender. Then I get that second filter without having to squeeze a bag. For that it’s great.
