Super simple and nice doesn’t dent the leather!

I purchased this car seat for around $500, expecting top-tier safety and durability from CYBEX. Unfortunately, after just a couple of years of normal use, the harness straps began to fray badly, which is absolutely unacceptable for a product designed to keep children safe.I contacted CYBEX immediately, sharing clear photos of the damage. Their initial response was to offer replacement straps, which I felt did not address the root concern—if the original straps failed prematurely, how can I trust the replacements won't do the same? When I pushed further and expressed my concern that this was a defect, not just wear and tear, the tone shifted.They ultimately refused to offer a refund or replacement, citing that I was just outside the 2-year warranty period. Even more frustrating was their suggestion that the damage may have been caused by "small animals"—a completely unfounded and dismissive explanation, especially since the seat has only been used in a clean, well-maintained vehicle.I elevated the issue again, only to be met with a generic discount code for a future purchase. I declined. I should not be expected to spend more money with a company that won’t stand behind the safety of their high-end products.Worse, when I made it clear that I would be escalating the matter to the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) due to the potential safety risk, I received no further response.I’m posting this review because parents deserve to know that if something goes wrong with your CYBEX seat—even a serious safety-related defect—you may be left without meaningful support. For the price, I expected a company that would prioritize customer safety over warranty timelines, and unfortunately, that was not my experience.

Change to this seat and my baby loves it.. (yeah right what kid loves a chair..🤣🤣🤣. But it is a great product.. it is heavy so if you plan to be moving it to another, be ready for a work out. What is great about it, since I have a Honda sedan 4 door, is the. New function, I don’t have to turn my baby into a pretzel to get him into his car seat. Also the cushion is enough for baby to be comfortable. Install is not complicated. The app for the sensor.. well you can’t have everything be right.. but the app has a lot to desire.. you have to log in every time you put the baby in the seat and pair it.. very annoying.

We love this car seat. It is sturdy, safe, comfortable for my toddler, and easy to adjust. My only real critique is how difficult it is to install. My husband and I spent an hour to install it initially and moving it between cars is a total pain. But otherwise, we are overall pleased with our purchase.

I absolutely love this carseat! I did a lot of research about the best convertible carseat regarding safety (crash testing), comfort, etc. I was stuck between this and the nuna rava which are the best rated car seats for comfort and scored highest on crash tests. I really wanted the 360 swivel as my son is a big boy so I opted for this one and I'm glad I did!!! Nuna has the Revv with 360 swivel, but it scored horribly on crash tests and only went up to 40 lbs so again this was definitely the better option. I've read a few people say it's very hard to install, but my husband got it installed within 5 minutes after watching the video that is on the QR code with the carseat. It also has a blue tooth sensor that is connected onto your phone which alerts you when your baby is buckled, temperature too hot or too low, etc. It really is so cool and the swivel is very easy. I'm really happy w/ this purchase and my son seems very comfortable in it. Only negative thing I would say is this is a very big carseat, so if you have a small sedan it might not be the most ideal; I drive a ford explorer so it fits good

This is a must have car seat. I have 9 month old who had grown out of the carrier/ base combo type of car seat, and needed to purchase a new car seat. I have a 2010 2 door Camaro. You have to flip the seats front forward to get to the back. I purchased a traditional rear facing car seat. Since there was no way to get to the side of the traditional rear facing car seat, there was no way to get my daughter out.I went looking for a solution. The Cybex Sirona S, is truly a miracle seat. It only has to be installed once and can be switched from rear facing to forward facing as needed by pressing a recessed area at the front of the seat. This allows you to completely turn the seat around to get your child out. You will have to stretch your arm a bit towards the front of the seat to do this. By using the same recessed button, one can also increase or decrease the angle. The seat also has a stability leg that stabilized the seat. It has a safety feature that will use the Bluetooth on your phone and a plug that gets plugged into your OBDII port in your car. It will alert you if the temperature is too high for the baby in the car and also if the baby is in the car after it has been shut off.The car seat seems comfortable for my baby. I would not have been able to use my car without this car seat. I highly recommend it to any parent.
