I’ve struggled with chair pads for many different chairs over the years. Even the name brand ones. They’d simply not stay put, slip off, leave sticky gummy crud to need to be removed from the hardwood floors. Etc.Then, I discovered these, and while it took some care and precision to pre-drill the holes in my vintage mid century Danish and Swedish chairs, it was well worth the effort.Do take care with the installation, think it through, as you need to take note of the angle of the leg in this operation! You’ll very happy with the outcome.

I was able to install these quickly using a drill/driver.They will stay on the legs of the chairs. The adhesive pads I used before kept slipping off.One disappointment. The screw threads are not as shown in the image. The depth of the treads is much shallower than what is shown. That makes it easier for the screws to strip out the hole. I stripped two holes out of 14 using a low torque setting on the driver. The pilot holes were the same as the minor diameter of the screw.

These look like they will work well but pre-drill your chair legs first if they are small, or you will crack them.

I like these because they offer an opportunity to shim to make up for legs of uneven lengths. They are secure but readily removable.
