Very Impressed with this set
I did a lot of research before getting this set. It very nice. It is small (it is supposed to be), so if you have a family or more than two people to feed, you may want to bring larger cooking pots. They are perfect for one or two people.

Loved it!
My 11 year old grandson loves this set! He cooked hot dogs on the grill and uses his bowl and spoon for his cereal. Hehe… it’s a nice set. Not really big but big enough to cook a couple s’mores or a hamburger . 5-6 hot dogs. I would buy again!

It works
It's a functional cooking set. It didn't blow my mind and was challenging due to our particular heat source which burned the very center of the pan. Poor heat distribution and the fact that the lid doesn't latch onto the pan was the biggest complaint. The silverware was sturdy but the clips to hold them together weren't. They regularly flipped closed on us.Handles that lock into place for the pans and forks would have been awesome.

Great for small camping uses
This kit works well. The utensils are a little funky, but work. It is easy to pack away in small spaces. It really isn't big enough for more than a person or two.

It is Almost Too Heavy
This is really not for one-person backpacking. It is too heavy for one person with other gear to carry. However, if it is shared between 2, 3, or 4 people who can distribute the entire weight of their gear evenly, then yes, it is great for backpacking. One person carries this set, another carries the hatchet, a third person carries the small backpacking stove, etc. The two cooking pots are thicker stainless steel and better quality than I expected. The pan/lid is thinner but still good quality. Stainless steel is always easy to clean and does not leach metal toxins like aluminum. The PVC pot handles are convenient if only used with a gas-fueled stove, not campfires. They would quickly burn and melt away over a campfire (it happened to me with a smaller set years ago). The stainless cutlery is cute but almost unnecessary and adds weight. The silicone rubber bowl/cups are worthless. The larger bowl was already torn along a fold when I opened the set. The silicone cups are too thin. They do not remain closed when folded and are too thin to remain safely upright when holding hot liquid/coffee/soup/tea. They clumsily flop around and spill their contents. I threw them away and use a thicker set of folding silicone cups that I had on hand.

Missing a key item, plus….
Nice kit for two people for eating. Not great for cooking. Importantly, there’s no pot top, so boiling water will take forever. The “frying pan” can sit on top but does not create a seal because its diameter is smaller than the pot. I didn’t try anything more complicated than boiling water but I’m suspect everything would have burned given the thin metal.
